  • It's great, the bad experiences I've had are due to my shitty non muxing or whatever dual graphics card laptop, which pika won't fix. Just make sure you check your card is supported by the current version of the driver. I'll reply again to show you where you can look for that info.

I'm assuming you can also "back port" it from unstable.

  • I was interested in Pika, but I took the leap and just went straight Debian. I'm happy.

  • The bands from Quebec are still going strong and are a rich part of the genre's origin and evolution.

Also, Picard (or L'octus in this case) is in the future, so the current state of the scene (and the performance of the Habs) doesn't factor into his worldview.

  • It's Picard Québécois, he looves metal, specifically tech death and similar, from Quebec and the habs.

  • True art is divisive /s

  • It's that way on purpouse , based off this comment chain :https://lemmy.world/post/50147669/25062869 And my previous inspiration to make "Picard Québécois"https://lemmy.world/post/39997008

Comment chain from that thread :https://lemmy.world/post/39954806/20930435 https://lemmy.world/post/39954806/20930554

EDIT : I don't speak french. It's that way for effect, as it's meant to be "Picard Québécois" gone evil, thus, not bothering to speak english/use the translators or whatever.

EDIT2 : The final line is "From now on, you will speak Joual", which is the version of french specific to Quebec.

EDIT 3 : I updated the description... which is what I was going to get to.

  • It's quite a struggle

  • ow the edge

  • Yeah. Think of it like this : influencer is a broad stroke term for basically, internet celebrity. They are able to influence people within the audience they have built for themselves, and are aiming to get their influence to more people to say something.

Now, they usually make money by lending that voice to companies in exchange for money. But, some are doing it to further other agendas, positive or negative.

And sometimes, there's a synergy. For example, Northernlion can be seen as an indie games influencer. Sometimes, companies pay him to play a game during a stream. He's upfront about the sponsorship, but it can be an interesting game to want to play. And sometimes, he doesn't know what game to play, since he streams most days as a regular ass job. So the "paid suggestion" helps him fill the time.

Others are not so scrupulous, and are exploitative.

  • While I have your attention, what's the actual T'pol /Hoshi thing you were referring to? I didn't get it, nor a direct explanation.

  • Thanks for the mention.

I give credit where credit is due... also, a subtle way of saying "LOOK MOD AH MAYED DIS! PAY ME ATTENSHUN!"

Figured you’d come to a solid concept and you nailed it.

    Thank you.

I don't even like pantyshots or cameltoes

  • Jeeez Rod-man, I like the horndog in you when we cut that cleavage on Trio's outfit, but keep that gay shit out of here!
