  • Of course I made it up. We're discussing a hypothetical scenario here where OP is asking our opinions on the matter.

You're positive it's a rarity based on what exactly? Let's see that source.

Yes of course they should be cleaned after use just like you should regularly wash your hands, wipe/wash your ass after pooping, shower, brush your teeth, cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze, etc yet many people fail at these as well. There's lots of nasty people out there.

There's zero way to confirm whether the person with the sex toy has cleaned it properly unless you physically helped them with it, so I don't see any scenario where I would find this acceptable and I would be repulsed at the suggestion and implication of someone asking to use a used toy on me.

  • I don't think it really matters because the person who thinks it's okay to use sex toys on multiple random partners probably isn't the type to be extra diligent about cleaning them. There's no way to guarantee to the partner that they've done any cleaning on it at all and they should understand that.

  • When Arco was sued for charging people fees on their debit cards, I got two separate checks for around $70 each. I don't think I ever paid anywhere near that in $0.35 fees. Every other one had been a scam though.

  • Same here. I have a media server and just spent an afternoon of my weekend replacing a failed Seagate drive that was only used to to backup my more important files nightly that was purchased maybe 4-5 years ago. In the past 10 years, this is the third failed Seagate drive I've encountered (out of 5 total) while I have 9 WD drives that have had zero issues. One of them is even dedicated to torrents with constant R/W that is still chugging along just fine.

  • Same here which is why I jumped on the X1C now. Companies like this always release the good shit first and each future model always lose features and usability bit by bit.

This change is annoying but not the end of the world. I don't regret my purchase one hit because the machine is top notch compared to what I had previously.

  • It's a crazy design. In the past I've seen others use a treadmill style bed which seems a lot less complex and accomplishes the same thing, but I'm curious to see how this works out. I've also seen people use the extruder to intentionally knock parts off, but this will probably cause issues longterm.

I agree it's not really practical for "home use" especially with a $2500 price tag.

  • Some really shitty wall anchors

  • Seems pretty spot on and it has been this way for years. Even in 2020 when I bought my first printer, Prusa was charging $1,000 for a printer that everyone else was selling for $300-$400. They only maintained through that due to good will from the community and the rest of the market outside of Creality being little cottage-type businesses that weren't selling high volume.

Even now in addition to the closed-source boards, they have a closed-source cloud-based smartphone app

Here's a 2 year old post on reddit bringing up the same concerns:

  • Probably because they made it even worse for the following seasons which made the original "not so bad." Kind of like how people view George W Bush in a more positive light now post-Trump.

  • What's bad is that the song is so terrible and yet once they mix it up for season 2, you wish they'd bring the original back.

  • Anything with a lot of sharp angles should show it off pretty well. You could try making one of the geometric vases since they don't use much filament being that they're single walled.

  • Then what is your basis for it only being between two people? You're defining it just like religion does because that's where you got the idea even if you don't realize it.

  • My phone is definitely easy on the eyes because I can see my reflection in the glass.

    (☞゚ヮ゚)☞

  • This person sounds insane like one of those people who lives in an RV with signs all over it talking about 5G nanobots and how water causes cancer.

  • The right-wing man-o-sphere is also full of young men who've been ostracized so it could go either way on this point alone.

  • So it can be used to make rainbow-patterned prints without a gazillion color changes.

  • Prusa Connect and Prusa App

Are these both open source too?

  • I wonder who's going to get an FBI raid and the threat of life imprisonment for this?

  • They make rainbow patterned filament already though.
