  • The US has been an oligarchy much longer. Wild propaganda, ranging from seeing negro-communist-marijuana smokers everywhere to the nonstop justifications for invasions, coups and mass slaughters outside the US has been integral to the US at least in the past one hundred years. American media has never been honest and always been a tool of propaganda, see manufacturing consent by Herman and Chomsky.

This has been going on well before Trump and unless there is an actual revolution, it will continue after Trump.

  • If you think that giving a murderer money so he can buy a gun to murder people with is not related to the act of murdering people, i would love to hear the explanation.

  • Man, boarding school kids always got the easy treatment.

  • The most convenient option would be to just not do it without an explicit opt-in.

You know how most browsers offer to do it.

  • As i said, where it is possible.

You loose 0 life quality by not buying trashfood. If you think that having the hottest fashion sneakers and trainers is more important than the literal life of other people, society should have an interest in locking you up. And obviously all the C-Levels that organize and commit these crimes should be locked up and have all their criminally hoarded wealth taken away.

  • Would you not judge people for putting a gun to the head of a child and pulling the trigger?

Because buying from some companies is paying the salary and the bullets of the people who do exactly that.

When people are designated as "terrorists" you can even be held criminally liable under the current system, if you keep doing business with them. Shouldnt the same standard apply for people doing business with genocide?

  • If they know better and there is no legit difficulty in not buying it then yes.

There is no reason why you would have to buy Coca Cola, McDonalds or other trashfood supporting genocide. There is no reason why you would have to buy Israeli anything. There is no reason why you would have to buy brands a Reebok or pay for Microsoft games.

Your employer forcing you to use Microsofot for work is a different matter.

If you do nonetheless, where you have no need to, you are choosing to support genocide and that makes you a terrible person and in a just world you would have to face criminal charges for it and have your money taken away to compensate the victims.

  • A lot of homicides on old people go unnoticed though, as their deaths are just declared natural without any proper investigation e.g. autopsy.

  • Going off what we know so far, many of American elites were either involved or must have known.

As in this silence is a quite severe complicity they should be stripped of any and all power, any and all wealth and those who cannot be made to rot in prison should have their names shunned forever.

  • You know that people being in your face about something doesnt automatically mean they are serious about it and vice versa, people not being in your face about something doesn't mean they aren't serious about it.

  • If you want that, you should call all your friends, grab your guns and meet at the town square.

  • What were we supposed to do, when they started having colonies? Not have some ourselves?!

  • Dont need the north star for the concept of north.

  • "soon" and "young" are always interesting terms in Geology and Astronomy.

  • No. Fat is long hydrocarbon chains with a carbonic acid group on one end and then esterized to glycerol, formally propan- 1,2,3- triol.

  • In the EU recovering phosphor from wastewater could cover about one third of the EU countries total phosphor demands.

This is why the EU made tge strategic decision to have such recovery systems developed and built.

  • Depends on how the wastewater would have been treated before.

Wastewater treatment does release CO2, however the sludge can be fermented to biogas. So in relative terms not that much. Also the sludge contains phosphate that could be recovered for fertilizing or chemical industry purposes.

It would probably be far more effective to build renewables with that money than to bury things for which a treatment process already exists.

  • Engineer here. We arent talking about directly tossing it on fields. We are talking about having it be anaerobically fermented at high temperatures for about 30 days, with the biogas captured and used for energy.

the new thing to do then is burn the remains and recover the phosphate from the ashes, where certainly no biological threat remains

These type of plants are currently built on many larger wastewater treatment plants in Europe
