  • If you want to be this pedantic, the basis for Christianity as we know it today lies in the First Council of Nicaea from 325 AD. Furthermore the Catholicism and Orthodox that we know today, relying heavily on iconography only came into existence with the Second Council of Nicaea in 787.

    Finally Christian make up the majority of Abrahamic Faith at around 55% , however would you consider the Political system of say the UK to be a "Labour party system" because they make up the majority? Would the US political system be the "Republican party system"? Or would you say that the multiplicity in them has to be acknowledged?

  • This has multiple inconsistencies. First of all speaking of "Christian God" is ignoring the Abrahamic Faith existing well before Christianity and the prophethood and message of Mohammed peace and blessing be upon him, clarifying a lot of the positions that contemporary Christianity got wrong from the Islamic perspective. Now whether you believe in it is a different question, but evidently Christianity is only a part of the Abrahamic Faith.

    Second of all, if there is only one God, which i am convinced of, there cannot be praying to "the wrong one". In that sense also the comic is falling short of basic logic. It does not matter in which language you say "God" if you believe in his oneness.

    Third of all, if you accept God as the creator of everything, his promise of the afterlife and his expectation of worship, then you have to accept the existence of Gods messengers and prophets. Now there is the risk of following a false prophet, but by learning about the messengers and prophets you have the ability to discern false prophets and false teachings.

    Finally your argument is based on assuming God to not have given you the means to know, thereby you would not be judged if you choose to stay ignorant, however the opposite is true by the scriptures. Seeking knowledge of God and his message and being sincere in your efforts will be rewarded and your mistakes will be forgiven if you sincerely repent for them. You know about God and evidently have some concept of his promises and warnings. Thereby you cannot claim a lack of knowledge as you have the duty to learn and build a correct understanding.

    If you say you don't believe because that is what is in your heart that is one thing, but claiming to not believe based on that being your "best bet" will not work.

  • Russia is not so much "pro Iran" as it is keeping an ambiguous relationship with Israel and Iran. Russia let Israel bomb Iranian militias in Syria. Israel sold drones to Russia after Russia invaded Crimea. Israel even demanded Ukraine to just give up against Russia behind closed doors. Netanyahu praised Russia and Putin in the past months and Israel refrained from demanding sanctions on Russia since the full scale invasion 2022.

    I believe that MTGs position is coming from a sincere "MAGA" position. Why should the US let Israel dictate what it is doing and what it is not doing? Why should the US on top of it pay billions to Israel for Israel to drag the US around?

    While she is a terrible person all around, she is consistent in asking "does this help America" in her idea of what "America" is supposed to be.

    Evidently wasting billions on Israel, getting US soldiers killed and forbidding people in the US from voicing their opionion including on what to buy and not to buy is detrimental to the US.

    If the invention had been further explored it is entirely reasonable to assume people could have invented a "practical" steam engine 2.000 years ago. All it would have needed is fixing the steam exhaust and have it drive a shoveled wheel.

    Great places to socialize are sports-clubs, social-clubs, volunteering, activism, religious communities...

    I'd much rather spend five hours a week distributed over two or three occasions with people i share interests with, than with people i share work with. Meanwhile at work i am mostly engaged in small talk, that is quite repetitive as i see the people every day and i have to guard what i can say and what i cannot say more than in other circles.

  • Germany doesnt care about Jews. The moment Jews are not fitting the box Germany designed for them by not blindly supporting Israel, those Jews are facing the same repressions like anyone else who challenges Germanies blind support for Israel.

    German politics, media and parts of civil society think that blind support of Israel is serving certain interests of Germany and they do it purely for these reasons. In particular we see it being used to justify racist discrimination against Arabs and other "brown" people and to crack down with increasing authoritarianism on leftist and ecological political positions.

    Like Israeli society they have deluded themselves into thinking that they know better than everyone else in the world what is right and wrong and fail to see, how this actually harms Germany tremendously.

This could bring these countries onto the plan, but also Israels allies UAE and Saudi Arabia. When more countries join against Iran, China could feel threatened, or see an opportunity in the distraction, Russia will certainly ramp up its efforts in Ukraine. The economic fallout of the explosion in oil and gas prices globally could tip over other conflicts into wars.

    This can definitely spiral into another world war. Remember that WW1 was caused by serbian seperatists assasinating the austrio-hungarian crown prince.

FFS the company is owned by a guy who lets himself be "refreshened" with the blood of younger people.
