Hello thanks for visiting my profile.

  • Yep. I am appreciative of your moderate perspective. It's not business as usual but every sign points to that Americans haven't given up on democracy just yet.

  • A series of Taylor Series

  • "Rising" authoritarianism is still too minced of a word to be effective.

America, you are living in an authoritarian regime. Stop acting like Putin's opposition and start making a credible plan (Project 2030?) to restore democracy and establish better guardrails, more accountability to the people instead of in service of capital.

  • I say give it a week or two before American domestic industry starts screaming.

  • SCOTUS: Let's see, we have to consider the "Trump can do no wrong" precedent, and the "I like money🎤🦀💰" exception doesn't apply, so...

  • And then the whole article is trying to complete a Rorschach test from a mound of dementia-addled word puke. Happens too often now.

  • mumbles a word

  • I sense that Newsom's trolling sends the message that Trump's not anyone special. The felon's only unique ability is to lie and boast without a single ounce of humility.

When he puts out this stuff sarcastically, it immediately makes all of Trump's antics almost identically as corny as Newsom's satirical versions.

  • Here's your cliché small talk starter: the weather.

    • Nice weather out today, huh? (Sprinkle sarcasm or adjust to match actual weather conditions)

    UK version:

    • Gloomy weather as usual, innit?
  • I've used Jerboa for years now, and have the press back twice to exit setting enabled:

My configuration for it is very minimal, to mimic RedReader that I used to use.

  • Seriously. I'd be somewhat less concerned about the impact if it was only voluntarily used. Instead, AI is compulsively shoved in every nook and cranny of digital product simply to justify its own existence.

The power requirement for training is ongoing, since mere days after Sam Altman released a very underehelming GPT-5, he begins hyping up the next one.

  • Perhaps the closure of Lemm.ee took away some of the quantity and variety of posts and communities?

  • They can attempt to push for a national ban on mid-cycle political redistricting.

  • Wifi boards in bulk cost less than a dollar each to produce at scale. So manufacturers don't really care about the costs of how things connect to what, since the cost of making something wireless is pretty small to begin with.

  • Why automatic????? The billionaire tax breaks can also be cut to fund the budget, ya know?

  • Okay great. Now, about those Epstein files...

    • US government wants more AI/data centres
    • US government doesn't want more renewable energy
    • US government wants expensive oil, gas and coal plants to keep running or get built
    • US government give no shits about water conservation or anything else environment related
    • US government raises taxes on any international inputs to domestic production, putting domestic industry at disadvantage
    • US government cuts education, climate response and health funding for future labour resilience

This is definitely a strategy that will pan out for the US...
