Problem is that I bookmark a site, forget I found a site, go search for a similar thing 6 months later, boomarking the same site (because the url changed slightly from the last visit) or bookmarking a similar one. Repeat.

He’s the epitome of “cringe comedy”, the comedy where the goal is to make actions and situations more and more outrageously uncomfortable as the story progresses. Can’t stand that style. I really don’t find him funny at all and avoid his films. Exception being Elf, and the only reason why is that the script doesn’t allow him much room to act the way he usually does. He has to expend effort.
He’s Taggart from Galaxy Quest without the redeeming qualities and the self awareness. (Yes, I know it’s a send-up of Star Trek) Worse, it may be he knows he’s a bad actor and disliked, but rides on that like it’s a good thing.
There’s that line actors cross where they stop having to play the part and then the parts are written for them. Ford crossed that line a long time ago, he doesn’t have to be anyone else.
I don’t think it’s virtue signaling as much as it seems like it’s becoming his identity - and maybe there’s some right-wing bias in the media that’s putting him on display more because of the military fetish that’s been pushed for a while. I thought he was a decent enough actor, but every time I see him now it’s all about what he does for the troops.
Offer the country you’re spending billions against in a proxy war resources that will likely find their way, directly or indirectly, used against the US’s financial expenditures in the war.
I figured the ones who experienced the greatest “injustice” turn up. “You hurt us and we supported you!” Certainly anyone harmed and concerned could show up, it may not be all conservatives.
Every time the right’s followers complain about what their elected officials do to them as a consequence of the officials doing exactly what anyone with half a brain expected them to do I don’t hear it as a general injustice to society at large, I hear it as “Your’e not hurting the right people!”
They’re fine with wrecking other’s lives, but the thought they’re being harmed or inconvenienced is intolerable.
Yeah. Take a look at common social media. It’s literally flooded again with right-wing BS justifying trump’s actions. Outright lies made over and over. There’s no way these aren’t paid troll farms doing this. The volume is overwhelming.
Those previous shipping labels are disfigured/taped over/marked out so they don’t confuse automated sorting machines and personnel.
