    Here we go again

  • Their plan is zero effort zero cost to them or their toxic masculinity. Just think of so many republican issues that revolve around petty selfishness and caricature man revenge-plot movie tropes that the country and many of us individually have to deal with. Kill everything, talk shit, fuck the girl, and walk away. They basically want to wreck everything up in the most low-effort, domestic abuser way without having to pay any price at all. Bomb another nation and kill a bunch of kids? no consequences. Women dying because they cant get abortions? Sit down, bleach your hair, shut up and crank out babies. Not my problem. People shot by the ICE SS? Guess they shouldn‘t have been breathing. Not my problem.

  • High school kids. You cannot be different. My kids refuse to wear a jacket. Hoodie, t-shirt, and sweats, jeans, or tights depending if it’s a PE day or not. Doesn’t matter if it’s snowing, 0°F or 60°. Same clothes. They all wear the same stuff.

  • I liked The Peripheral. It only got better with each episode despite the changes from the book original. Of course it got canceled after the first season.

  • I partly disagree. It’s changed so much it only follows mostly the high points of the books. IMO the first season was really weak with some awful wooden acting and choreography. The cast have very much improved as the series has progressed and Pace, Birn, and Mann are best in show. The set and CG visuals are great.

  • And one they’re born they become their parent(s) problem.

  • Further proof trump and the republicans haven’t had an original thought in decades.

  • Firefox almost exclusively with the requisite plugins. Only using other browsers when a site requires it, like Safari on iOS, but that happens maybe 1-2 times a year. I don’t even have Chrome installed anymore.

  • The house I grew up in? Sure. Like the back of my hand. A couple other places maybe. But there was essentially a decade where I moved so many times I couldn't even tell you what the house or apartment I rented looked like much less what the inside looked like if I tried. It’s been 30 years since I lived in my hometown, I wouldn’t get lost ever, but I don’t think I could find all the places I used to know.

  • ok then

  • It wasn’t that long ago.

  • Charge at home. I think most people do that. A quick unscientific stat looked up seems to indicate 80% charge at home in the US. Probably similar in other countries?

  • ok then

  • Completely relatable. The prices keep going up with more and more restrictions while being enshittified with ads, tiered service, and paying twice to watch something - the streaming service fee and then a rental fee on top of that, for a movie that might be a decade or more old.

    Arr…fuck that.

This is exactly why people fled cable. It was completely predictable the streaming services would enshittify just like cable.

  • An hour and fifty minutes? Any way to sum this up and tell us what it’s all about?

  • Lol you think they’d give them the best? They’d send them out like Russia; unpaid, lie about them being KIA to avoid paying the family death benefit, and two soldiers at a time - one with the a single rifle and the other with only 5 bullets.

  • If they reinstated the draft it the height restriction wouldn’t matter. They’d take anyone who was liberal, or not wealthy enough to prevent it.

  • What the republicans can’t win because their ideas are shitty the democrats will hand them because they’re spineless.
