    Imagine being an extrovert but afraid of other people. You'd be super screwed.

    But you're right that being an introvert is not a disorder. It's just needing alone time to recharge.

  • I stopped going for this reason recently. For the first time since covid I got no upcoming cinema visits and don't plan to change that.

    I enjoy atmospheric movies, sometimes they are quiet and try to build up tension with subtle sound design.

    Popcorn kills that. Like if we're watching some action flick crunch away. But if it's some atmo horror or whatever movie, maybe 50 people chewing with their mouths open and slurping drinks kind of negates the whole point of the movie.

    I switched to graphene OS just a month ago when I first heard about it.

    I'm happy to report it was easy, everything works perfectly and the user experience is better. Full control, no bloat. Should have switched way sooner but I was intimidated by never having done any installs on a phone.

  • I have several horse riding people in my social circle.

    Several horses have just randomly died for them. It's apparently a thing that sometimes happens.

    Last time one had twisted intestines or something and had to be put down. Apparently that can happen if a horse moves wrong. It's what the vet said.

    I imagine this as when you take a sudden move and pinch a nerve in your neck. But instead of some time of slight pain and discomfort, you just die.
