I can be controversial or annoying because I always require proof and facts for whatever people are saying/claiming. This has gotten me into a lot of heated debates, even got myself banned from "YouShouldKnow" for saying I need more proof of Israeli's genocide (that was long ago, got more proof and changed my mind). If I do not agree on some subjectively obvious topic, please do not assume I'm being unfriendly, evil or a troll. I do try my best to approach any subject with neutral and open mind. Just call me autistic with OCD

  • Note that the only requirement to run models is memory size. Theoretically you could buy the cheapest/slowest GPU out there, as long as it has sufficient memory for whatever models you want to use. Performance itself is about how long you're ready to wait for 1 image, which can vary anywhere between few seconds and minutes.

    I've heard people just buying Mac mini's due to their memory size (unified), even tho the performance is not great, but you can run larger models as opposed to RTX 4060ti

  • I actually refuse to believe you can simply undress people with grok, but rather the fact that it's easily jailbroken, which suddenly makes this not a company's problem as the service was essentially "cracked" and used outside it's Terms of Service. Still, this IS a problem.

But here's the thing - a lot of companies and artist's whom I love ran away/relocated once it was clear what direction Russia is going in. I have nothing against those who left.

  • Same with google in East Europe. Constantly seeing AI generated politicians pushing for scams. Several times I've reported the more obvious scams with proof. Google has always responded to me that it does not break their terms of service. So if you want to advertise scams - know that google allows it.

  • Interesting. I've always said that I liked 8.1 the most out of all Windows versions. With classic startup, it was basically a more stable, faster Win7 that had newer DirectX and fastboot. Too bad it died with 8.0 and so 8.1 never got any market share, but damn was it awesome.
