  • Ask his wife.

If she is ok with it, he's not cheating.

There really isn't any other way to know.

  • We love sex and do it everyday, and generally do compromise up (if either of us want to we do) but I so love me some nuance, too. Often, approach does matter and it's nice. "wanna fuck" because I am bored is less likely to land than if I approach my husband physically, I know this. He knows me too, and how to get me started.

Again - I don't think it's necessarily a requirement, just good to know how to ask, and to be aware of how your partner is feeling at the moment. Likely better results if you care to.

  • Yes. All except search by genre.

I listen to community radio, look at music related websites, let the music app dj, sometimes my kids show me music or vice versa, and opening acts at shows.

  • Sexy time? No thanks

    Movie? No thanks

What do you want to do?

Sit on the porch with you, have a drink and talk, go for a walk, sleep, whatever.

    Why not just ask? Or:

I'm gonna watch Hot Fuzz, do you want to?

OMG you are so hot I want you right now.

Not that it's someone's responsibility to know how to ask things, but I think it does help to you know, know your partner. Someone asking "sexy time?" wouldn't make me want sex, and I might want to watch a movie if I know which one.

Even better - "I'm gonna play Genshin, unless you wanna watch a movie, is there anything you want to watch? "

Like, there are probably a thousand better ways to approach this. Maybe it's in the delivery not the suggestions.

  • Ha, same. I have always called it "minority attractive" because most guys would not be into me, but there is an enthusiastic subset who are.

I don't think I was ever ugly enough to lose the beauty privilege though, if that makes sense. The bar is not set that high. What I am now is older, though, which starts to work the same way. It gets more difficult to get hired, people don't see you as much. Lower on the totem pole of priority. I'm ok with it, had sort of a duck-to-swan progression already, back to duck is ok.

  • Age laws (children have developing brains and are not assumed to be able to legally consent)

    Right to treatment for addiction.

Right to know what substance you are using (free of contamination, if it's cut the carrier substance should be disclosed)

Prohibition on operating heavy equipment or weapons while high.

I think that about covers it for me.

  • I chunk it, don't think of it a a project just an ongoing work.

So for example we are renovating the half bathroom but it is necessarily a slow project. I need to:

Clear the closet space we are opening up, which required:

2 outdoor storage units (one done one pending)

Relocating the indoor stuff to other spaces (done)

Painting (also done in steps, there are a bunch of splotches painted on one wall from testing colors - chose now but need to buy the gallon of it)

New cabinet in that closet (purchased and sitting in boxes will assemble after painting)

Move cat box into former closet space (done)

I am just doing what I can when I can, not letting go of it.

Also I want to whine a little - most of the work in life isn't something that's ever finished. Getting to be Done is sort of a imaginary idea. It's never going to be done. I feel so sexist about it, too, probably falsely but my impression is historically men get to work on projects and then rest on their laurels, women do the ongoing maintenance afterwards because it's not actually done but something that needs to be maintained. Like "here, I have built you a house! I am done!" But then someone else has to do the endless ongoing work of maintaining it.

So I honestly don't really ever think something is done, and am sort of at ease with that.

  • I would go with the second part of your message here and skip it UNLESS you are having symptoms and think there is really something the scans missed.

I actually had an incidental scan, was getting a "Coronary Artery Scan" because I've had always high cholesterol - it came back perfect, no buildup but they found benign little masses in my liver - doctor says absolutely normal and I understand why they would look (free knowledge for me) but I think I would be a little better off not knowing that.

  • The website The Perfect Loaf has been a big help. His recipes look funny but it is because he's using bakers %, you don't need to be that precise.

The book Tartine Bread also helped me get better at making bread.

If you have a robust starter, sourdough is so much easier and more forgiving than a dough made with commercial yeast.

  • A friendship is a very valuable relationship, though. I am in nonsexual friendship with other people and those connections are so important. I do think if you are looking for intimate nonsexual relationships with women that is harder, your dating pool will be small. Unless you like sex enough to enjoy pleasing someone else, that would probably expand it some.

As to what you'd be doing, whatever you want I guess! If you can wrap your head around what you would want, maybe you will find it. At least you aren't trying to change yourself to try to fit in, that's good.

  • I do a lot of gardening and cooking.

Sourdough bread is probably my favorite because it still blows my mind that flour, water, and salt are the only inputs and can deliver a loaf I could sell for $8-10. Literally some of the best bread I've ever eaten, and there is no reason it should even work.

Gardening is sometimes magical and sometimes tragically frustrating.

Yoga I value because it keeps my body and mind in good shape.

  • For this particular item, maybe the streetwear community?

  • I buy stuff online so I think I am probably profiled pretty accurately.

But judging strictly by the ads, I am so very sick. So many drug ads for diseases I don't have, many I've never heard of. Or maybe a prescriber of drugs as I get some ads targeted at doctors selling drugs to patients.

The rest are random as far as I can tell - I just opened Yahoo to see and it's been car insurance, drugs, drugs, crayons, personal loans, phone plans, drugs, drugs, drugs, drugs, drugs, more car insurance, toothpaste, groceries, mens spray deodorant, and again, so many drugs. And Bank of America, there is no way those fuckers would pay for me to see their ad if they knew me.

  • Language. I would always choose language. That can unlock the other two.

  • Honestly? Friendship plus sex/lust/physical love. I care for my husband as a friend and we enjoy each other sexually, that's the romantic element.

There are other aspects to our marriage of course, we plan together and have a family and financial alliance, all the old stuff marriage was for, I guess. Except procreation, we each brought our own kids but now they are also each others' family and allies. But the romantic piece to me is the part related to sex.

And I lean much more towards an opposite/complementary partner not someone like me. We are quite different but so strong together.

  • Not really, but that may be because in the meantime I aged into what is considered the most trustable demographic; the middle aged lady. People talk to me now. Confide in me, even.

God I hate people being rude to service workers, that is to me the sign of a true asshole. Someone who thinks they are worth more than someone else. I don't see it much though.

  • My next door neighbors on both sides, the ones across the street, two of my grown kids live in my neighborhood, my first Pokemon go friend does too, the beautiful family down the street, and the old Cuban guy with the old chihuahua, and the very talkative guy a block away.

So it's spotty I guess. Most of the people on our block I have at least waved to, and none are friends like that come over for supper, but are people I talk to in person and occasionally by text.

The other ones we are barely acquainted with but have nicknames for: pool table guy, cigar chewing guy with the beautiful custom house, depressed guy who doesn't mow and sits in his truck outside his falling down house, the hipsters (flying down the street on hoverboards, one with curly man bun the other with long blond hair flying in the wind) the New Yorkers, the crazy lady across the street who got in her car, pulled out of her driveway and into my driveway to get out and talk to me, the nice old couple, the friendly childless people in the black house, and more but you get the idea.
