  • In Japan child nudity is not an uncommon sight in fiction, simply because it's seen as a sign of innocence. It's stopped being as much of a thing in newer works because Japanese Media is nowadays made with US localization in mind because if your shit becomes popular in America, it's like getting a blank check.

    It's actually why in the Japanese Version of Earthbound (Mother 2) Ness is naked in Magicant. (in the US Version he's in his Pajamas)

    I will try to survive the harsh conditions of no PC as best I can.

    At least he talked me into getting a new CPU so maybe I can finally play Marvel Rivals without it crashing.

    Dunno why Marvel Rivals of all games gives me that trouble. But hey, this CPU is twice as good as me current one.

    Plus if it wasn't the power supply, there's not a lot of options left for what it could be, MOBO or CPU and I"m replacing them both.

    The CPU will arrive on the 8th, sigh dunno why the MOBO will take so long. but oh well. Maybe this will give me time to finish Super Mario Wonder

  • I've had some people at least try to say "Oh sure a dog can adapt but it's still just a different kind of dog."

    Which I can sorta get. I mean it's still wrong, but at least I get why someone can believe in adaptation but not evolution if that's their logic.

    And it is hard to argue. We watch bacteria evolve and it's still bacteria.

    Of course the answer is "Evolution to change a species takes longer and the fossil record proves this."

    But I can see how they're getting the wrong answer.

  • I'll be honest, that's fair enough. It's not really any of my business if another person is vegan, as long as they're not trying to shame me into abandoning meat.

    It is a little sus that they get mad at someone eating something that isn't a "beeg juicy steak", like they're Mr. Pottsdam or something.
