  • They are meat the same way a cow is meat, but you don't eat the cows hide. If you sell cricket meat then it should be just the "meat" of the cricket, otherwise you are just selling cricket not cricket meat, like selling the corpse of a cow is not selling meat it's selling a dead cow.

Just as you sell lobster, you sell the lobster and then extract the meat later. Just calling the entire lobster meat is also disengenous.

  • Hmm 95% meat + 5% beak and feet compared to 5% meat + 95% chitin and guts. I guess it's totally the same thing, sorry my bad.

  • At that point just eat popcorn, you're mostly eating it as a delivery device for the added sauces/spices.

  • Insects are more chitin than they are meat. If you can extract the meat from a cricket and fry it up I'll give it a shot. If it's just ground up chitin and bug guts with a little bit of muscle fiber thrown in I will pass thank you.

  • You only eat the inside of the shrimp and lobsters. You throw away the exoskeletons.

Good luck doing that with crickets.

  • Just wait until all plants in Australia die out except for eucalyptus trees and koalas take over the continent

  • One thing I don't understand about inflation is why printing money increases it but borrowing money doesn't.

Either way you all of a sudden have $200 million dollars to spend, why does inflation care if that came from another country? The money is still the same, being spent the same, etc.

Eventually it needs to be paid back but that's not for a very long time so wouldn't inflation happen between now and then anyways?

  • It's probably doubling as a tax payer funded vacation

  • You do need to watch out with the black Friday deals, in general but power tools definitely do it as well.

Make sure the model number of the product on "sale" is the same as the model number of their regularly stocked tools. Sometimes they will bring in special models for sales which are build cheaper and lack specific functions than the regular ones they stock year round, and the model number will be FROTY345B instead of FROTY345A or something.

  • For things like language, math, and science you could probably have an AI teacher on individualized tablets or something that go at each child's own pace in a classroom setting that's just supervised by someone and can provide extra help / tech support when the AI goes on the fritz.

Then regular recess/lunch shenanigans and gym class, art, music, for the social aspect.

The AI could even be programmed to do team projects where you link your tablet with 4 others and they all help the group do a project

Eventually when AI advances and isn't complete dog shit, that is.

  • I didn't know Trump was a communist

  • There are already a bunch of companies who got $10,000+ tarriffs bills for products they ordered months before tarriffs were intoruced, before Trump was even in office.

Why would they order more stuff for the tarriffs to come back In 4 months and fuck them over again?

  • As well, why would you when you can just hunker down for 4 years and wait for the next administration to get rid of the tariffs? They already have millions and billions invested outside of the country. Why spend that much again for a potentially short term problem?

  • I mean, the spacing looks like it would be pretty squishy if you had little wall separators between each spot

  • Go back to the low paying job that I really liked but couldn't afford.

  • I really wish you could buy sim cards in like, packs of 2-3 and have multiple sims for your devices using the same plan / line.

So your phone, laptop, tablet, etc can all share the same data and potentially voice/text service if they have the right software.

  • I like the size of new Mavericks, but Ford, bleh

  • Usually low turnout benefits the Republicans. This is potentially every Democrat coming out to vote against Trump while Republicans stayed home because they don't like Trump anymore but can't bring themselves to vote for a Democrat.

  • I imagine wages also went up 10%? Yes?

  • No, most of Trump's supporters are idiots so you have to point out every miniscule little fuck up otherwise they will think that Trump is amazing.

Yes, it's inconsequential, but if you don't make a fuss about it Republicans will think he is infallible.
