I’m not sure lack of a primary was a problem. The last time we had a primary, there were several worthy candidates, including Harris, Warren, Mayor Pete, Klobuchar, and others. Yet, we still ended up with EVERYBODY’S last choice.

Bruh, Harris, Pete, and Klob all consistently polled under Biden as first choices before they dropped out.

Believe it or not, you and the rest of the "Sink the Dems at any cost" brigade are not the entirety of the left. Shocking, I know.

I mean, I’m not the one who promised to revisit the public option and then didn’t.

Wow, why didn't the Dems use their 50-50 'majority' to pass a deeply contentious bill that would have been unable to get all 50 Dems onboard regardless of the compromises involved, yet would need a 60-40 majority to pass???

Of course, if they'd tried, you would have condemned them for trying and wasting time on a meaningless gesture (which would be true) instead of doing real work.

The only thing you care about is making sure "the LIBS" lose and the fascists win. Because if the fascists are in power, you feel heroic when you roleplay as a leftist. The blood of minorities makes for great cosplay makeup, it would seem.

I made a comment about how the press is willing to admit that netanyahu is committing genocide in Gaza now that a republican is in the white house. I wouldn’t call that better.
