  • That was more 2000s than 2010s.

  • Not all foods can be stirred. Twice the time at half the power is a much better solution. Or if you're in no rush, ~3x the time at 30% power is even better.

  • The shut down Facebook? All of it?

Or did they simply block it in their country?

  • I'll admit that I went on a bit of an ADHD-fueled rant on the end, but I thought I was reasonably clear.

Tell me what part of my comment you don't understand, and I'll be happy to explain it to you.

  • Even though Apple lost that lawsuit, Samsung most definitely did copy Apple back then. And this is coming from someone who has never, and will never own an Apple product.

Quite a lot has changed since then. These days Apple products feel extremely outdated, with their square watchfaces and embarrassingly large camera notches and whatnot. It's embarrassing when compared to modern Android devices.

  • Modern pizza originates in the US, so I don't know why the fuck anyone would go to Italy and expect it to be better.

To be fair, it was Italian immigrants who invented what we know as pizza today, but Chinese immigrants also brought Chinese food to America as well—and if you go to China expecting the same kind of food there, prepare to be disappointed (especially if you don't live in an area with a large Asian population. I do so I can assure you that authentic Chinese is completely different. Same for pizza.)

Edit: Why are you booing me? I'm right.

  • To be fair, your images are full of jpeg artifacts. But at least they're higher res.

  • The shade absolutely was necessary. This isn't reddit; have some standards.

  • I'd argue that YouTube censors way more than reddit does. (Not to imply that reddit isn't evil, cause it is.)

If I say anything even remotely leftist, I get a "some activity may not appear yet" message showing in my YT comment history, and the comment doesn't appear when I log out. Yet any comment promoting MAGA and Fascism shows up just fine. Yet nobody ever talks about it anywhere on the web. Why aren't we discussing this clear and blatant bias?

  • Why wouldn't there be? People like free stuff and piracy is a thing.

  • I thought The Guardian was an English publication?

  • I'm interested, but does anyone know if there's something like a ReVanced version for it so I can use it for free without ads, like I can with YouTube Music ReVanced?

  • I'm surprised the number is so low. It feels more like 90%.

  • They can't actually die; they're just perpetually "starving".

Speaking of Neopets, my biggest regret is auctioning off my 20+ year old Bruce Booster Pack for a fraction of its value (a mere 10K NP IIRC; it's worth over 100K). I thought a low opening bid would start a bidding war, but apparently very few Neopets users actually visit the auction page. Only got one bid. :/

  • (Never used the app so I was wondering why it still looked off to me...)

I wonder if it still has the annoying robot lady saying "Am-ber alert in your ar-e-a! :D" in her stupid bubbly voice. And it's not a proper TickTock without the signature bloop sound at the end.

  • Unfortunately Windows 11 is the only OS to actually implement HDR properly. For that reason alone I still dual boot it with Arch.

  • Same but I'm at a public toilet so I just said it in my head.

  • Hell, I wouldn't buy any used product that has a non-replaceable battery. Lithium ion batteries require very little care and next to no maintenance, yet people still manage to abuse them and thus dramatically reduce their lifespan.

  • Less than a third of all voters voted for Trump. Most voters stayed home.
