There would be no rich in a fully libertarian socialist society, as it would be extremely difficult to accumulate wealth when there is no exploitative power over others, and where anything that isn't able to be created by an individual can only be created in a voluntary worker cooperative where everyone benefits equally.
If all basic needs are freely lent out in a library economy, and everyone participating in the 2 to 3 months of yearly work equally benefitted from it in the form of free housing, food, healthcare - and public transportation and private property is abolished (distinct from personal property), then there would be virtually no avenues for an individual to accumulate enough personal property to wield any sort of substantive power over others.
Personal property is classified as what an individual person or family can actively use themselves.
If you begin hoarding more than you or your family can realistically use, the excess is no longer considered personal property, but private property, which may get you ejected from that community if you actively hoard under a libertarian socialist society and you refuse to stop.

A house is usable by an entire family, and if I own it but don’t use it myself, my ownership deprives an entire family of its use. That scales to apartment buildings pretty easily. Then there’s farms where basically it’s impossible for one person to do all of the work on a farm or eat all of the products of a farm, but my ownership has the effect of depriving anyone the right to work there or the right to consume its products. A factoryn is truly impossible for one person to use, but my ownership of it allows me to deprive everyone of its products unless they meet my price demands and also allows me to deprive everyone of use of the factory to make anything at all.
Private property entails a deprivation of society of socially necessary commodities.
With the elimination of private property, and basic needs a human right, that would leave the gift economy on top of that, which would realistically be limited to just what individuals can create and share amongst themselves.
The ultimate answer is to eliminate money and wage labor entirely in favor of a gift economy, as practiced in parts of Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War, and depicted in The Dispossessed.
That would also mean all of us would only need to work about 2 to 3 months out of the year to maintain the base needs of everyone, with the rest of the year being free time to do with as you please. The lack of profit motive would also set us up to stop the progression of climate change before it destroys humanity and most other life on earth.
For XMPP, the Movim client is currently the best option as a discord alternative.
It has group voice and video calls, screensharing w/audio (need a chromium browser to share the audio for now), and just added discord-like channels with rooms (though it's not as smooth as Discord). The Dev plans to implement drop-in voice rooms at some point as well.

The lack of scaling and even more critically, lack of federation, unfortunately makes this not a viable alternative, at least not for Discord as it is used today. As a smaller self-hosted option that is just for use between a friend group, it'd probably be fine. It just won't be able to replace the exact use-case of Discord, such as allowing for easily bringing new randos you meet into a call without them having to sign up to your specific server.
The Discord-alternative landscape is filled with people vying to take its place, but I think we would be better served rallying behind Movim and XMPP, IMHO. Or Fluxer, if they eventually can enable federation.
I think it'd be better if we stuck with Movim instead, which is already built on a proven scalable and most importantly federated back-end (XMPP), and also already offers text, group audio and video calls, screensharing w/ audio (have to use chromium based browser for now to stream the audio), and even some pretty decent encryption.
It's our most promising Discord alternative out of many.
It's less hidden for admins. Whenever we click on a user's profile, there's a button that can take us directly to their individual mod-log history, which can help us quickly see if there's a history of AI or bot spam behavior that was spotted by other admins/mods.

Agh, auto correct got me. Yes, I meant bot scrapers.
As for the robots.txt v2 idea, I'm not sure that would be very effective or popular amongst admins, as I think most would prefer not to give it any data if possible, and even with reduced rates, there would probably still be enough bots and queries to present a significant issue.
I think there have been some experiments with 'trapping' bots in a recursive loop that they don't realize is a loop, and therefore can't escape, but I'm not sure how effective those have been.
The Fediverse has a lot more safeguards in place, in particular the ability to require a message to register an account, such as my instance requires, weeds out 99% of bots.
We can also defederate from instances that become overwhelmed from bots if they have lax sign-up requirements (already happened a few times), which vastly limits their ability to take hold.
The bigger problem for us, I think, is the fight against bot scrapers. Anubis is keeping them at bay for now, but it will likely be an ongoing cat and mouse game until the AI bubble bursts.

Right, and they tend to convince investors to give them more by the amount of users adopting and using the product, which they can then extrapolate out with wild projections to convince venture capital to give them even more investments.
If more people abandon it entirely, the less venture capital they may be able to entice into their trap.
Unless that AI is hosted locally and only trained exclusively on public domain or GPL code (AFAIK, no AI model like that exists), it's both unethical to use, and potentially corrupting the code-base with proprietary code it copied from somewhere else.
If a developer uses an AI hosted in a datacenter, then every use of it encourages the waste of water and fossil fuels to run the datacenter, it encourages the more to built in vulnerable neighborhoods where they can't do anything about the pollution they generate, and it enriches the pocketbooks of the techno-fascists that run those datacenters.
I'm surprised they're not adamantly against it, since AI code so frequently spits out garbage code, yet Debian is known for its stability. How can they not see the conflict here, especially to their reputation?
Your previous comment lead me to think that you disapprove of instructional videos of things that if replicated by someone who does it incorrectly it would become dangerous or life-threatening.
Hm. Out of curiosity, do also believe that instructional videos of how to do house construction, electrical work, or brake repair on cars should not be freely available to prevent people from watching it and doing incorrectly and dangerously?
Thanks for sharing your experience there, glad to hear it's much better than my very brief trip through it seemed. I guess it kinda stood out to me as negative from the highway, since other cities that I've been through happened to look really cool even passing through on the highway, like St. Louis (though they had the big Arch thingy right in view from the highway, which gives them a pretty unfair advantage :p).

There used to be a GIMP plugin that changed everything to be like Photoshop, not sure if it still exists.
PhotoGIMP, and yeah it's still around.
Personally I tend to just use Krita for most photo-shoppy things since I find the interface nicer to use, but I have to admit gimp has been making some solid improvements lately.
I'm not super well versed with diving, but wouldn't the excess pressure and air just go out the bottom of the helmet? it's open to the water below, similar to shallow-water helmets, which are used by untrained tourists.
How would it blow up your lungs?
I'm assuming you didn't watch the video, but this particular helmet design has a completely open bottom. the only thing keeping the water beneath you out is the positive pressure from the air hose. Any excess air flows out the bottom.
it needs weights attached to it to keep it from floating (he attached just enough weight to keep it neutrally buoyant). If it sprung a leak, you would easily be able to remove the helmet either by lifting it up off you, or tilting forward or to the side and sliding it off. it is not strapped to the person at all.

I've only driven through Columbus Ohio once via highway, so I don't have a complete picture of it, but all I remember about it is it had the worst highway layout of any I've experienced, and it had the ugliest, most souless corporate signage along the road that I've ever seen as well.
I also stopped to get some fast food, and immediately had a couple people loudly mock me for wearing a mask after I let them ahead of me while I was looking at the menu.
The place just left me with really bad vibes, honestly.
