If people are having a massive snowball fight in new York city, and cops show up and are concerned about people concealing rocks in the snow... There's hundreds of people there... Why not just throw a rock? Why have to hide it in a snowball?

We just lost one of our dogs a little over a year ago. We still miss him every day. I've known about this poem for years and was reminded of it when we put him down, the vet gave us some cards with his paw prints and nose prints on it. On the back of them was the poem about the Rainbow Bridge.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
I think Barrett is a fucking slug, but as far as I've observed she genuinely wants to side on the side of the country. She's just a woman surrounded by men appointed by a fucking narcissistic fascist, so sometimes voting is needed for her survival? Maybe?
I mean, there are plenty of studies and experiences that genuinely show women have not just a greater concern for their safety, especially at night, but are far more likely to be assaulted than men.
She didn't do anything though. Each and every individual should have been immediately charged and arrested. It's a felony to film in a court room without permission. Every dipshit wearing those glasses should spend a month in a cell before the trial continues.
I've served in the Canadian Armed Forces. I'll bet my house that's more than anything you've ever done. I've served my country once and I would do it again tomorrow if it came to it.

This is what frustrates me most as a Canadian watching this from over the fence.
I've seen ICE videos of them killing people. There are 6 officers and 75 people with phones. ICE shoots someone and none of the 75 people do anything. They let it happen. The 75 people just stood by and watched ICE murder a citizen in broad daylight. When in reality those 75 people could have not only stopped the murder from happening, but likely killed those 6 ICE agents and prevented a future tragedy.
The fact no one wants to try and stop this is why it's still happening. America is filled with keyboard warriors and when push comes to shove, a bunch of pussies.
America is falling not just because of people not voting (Which 1/3rd of eligible voters allowed this to happen), but because of deliberate inaction as fascism takes over right in front of everyone with no resistance at all.
But maybe we'll have a protest on a Saturday afternoon. That'll show em.
