  • Because trans people's brains are literally wired to be the gender they transition into, not the body they're born in.

Every transgender person I know, including the one I'm married to, knew from a very young age their brain didn't match their body.

Finding out and accepting you're trans is the diagnosis.

  • But what if I win the lottery!? Then I'll be affected! That's why I'm against it!

    /s

  • One thing people also never seem to factor into raising minimum wage, is that it would give people more disposable income to spend on things like going to restaurants and buying more toys and such.

Everyone always seems to complain "How could I afford to pay my employees more!?" and they never seem to figure more people would be spending money on your business.

Also simply put, if you can't pay your employees a livable wage, you shouldn't own a business.

  • So you make an accusation, and when someone asks for proof, you tell them to go find it themselves?

The onus is on you to provide the proof. I could say you're a racist. If someone says you're not, I could say "Just go look it up". I get to sully your name and spread lies and never have to back up my accusation.

    Doesn't seem fair, does it?

  • Care to prove that? Because this whole thread is the entire community shitting on that same topic with someone else.

  • Except Ellen isn't a Shitty racist white supremacist.

  • Found one.

  • Much love! I hope you have a great day!

  • I mean, to be fair Stonetoss is both a shitty person, and a shitty artist.

  • If a woman says "all men" and you take offence to that, you're in the "all men" category.

My partner complains about how men treat them, especially online. They get harassed when they go out on their own sometimes. When they complain about "All men are this or that", I know they're not talking about me, or my brother, or our dad's.

  • As a man, this comic is 100% accurate.

My partner is an AFAB enby and is struggling to get surgery for ovarian removal. They had a partial hysto a few years before we met. Before they had that surgery, while single and not wanting to have 48 day periods anymore, several male doctors delayed it because "Well what if your future husband wants kids? You're going to deprive him of that?"

They never wanted kids. We've been married 8 years, we're never having kids. My partner was sexually assaulted in high school. When she reported it, the male principle asked them "Well, what were you wearing?" They were sitting in front of him in a baggy sweater and track pants.

PC's take in this comic is a turn of reality. Men genuinely do talk to women like this. They don't take their health serious. They're over reacting or emotional. It's all in your head.

Any man who sees this comic and takes offence to it, congratulations, you're the fucking problem.

  • I've been trying to find out how to do that on Boost.

    Halp.

  • I don’t think she’s misandrist she’s just not perfect.

No, but she's a woman on the Internet and if she isn't perfect, dipshits like @Ilovethebomb@sh.itjust.works will make sure she knows all about it.

  • TIL advocating for human rights is 'virtue signalling'

  • Probably unless it's high production like Hollering Elk or something, everything is 'lazy' to them.

Also probably projecting because their stick figure drawings aren't making traction like xkcd does.

  • But that’s all she does. She doesn’t make any comics about Canadian politics, presumably because they don’t get the same traction. It’s a grift.

So... The comic that is posted for this comment chain is about American politics? A kid dressing up in a dress and his mom suggesting a different colour... How is that about American politics?

  • So anyone defending pizzacake gets accused of being a white knight. Those exist, sure, but you can also just see the harassment and come to the reasonable conclusion that’s not right.

Right? I actively defend PC because I just genuinely enjoy her comics.

And she's a fellow Nova Scotian.

  • As a left wing man who wears skirts in the summer time... Not sarcastically I do want men to be able to prance around in dresses if they want to. Remove the shame of wearing fucking clothes.

  • Yup. That's pretty much me. I'm in my late 30s and as a kid I didn't really dress up much but for some reason I could walk in heels like no ones business.

Always been kind of curious around that stuff, and wasn't quite sure where I fell in the spectrum. But now that I'm married to an enby, and have a girlfriend who's trans, it's quite apparent to me I am anything but trans. Just a pan/poly dude who leans fem. I wear ankle long skirts in the summer time because they're far more comfortable than pants (And they look good too).

Clothing is not gendered. Just because you like wearing clothes that are "intended" for the other gender doesn't change you as a person. Just because I like wearing skirts because I got a lot going on down there and I like the room doesn't make me any less of a man.
