  • I have one of those too and it's pretty great for chrome plated plumbing parts because it doesn't damage them but cobras can do everything those can and more so I just find them more versatile.

  • I'm on the far end of this spectrum, and I'd argue that there's definitely something wrong with me, but it's a curious issue in the sense that it only affects me negatively when someone else is bothered by it. You don't really miss sex when you have no desire for it. It's actually kind of a superpower too at times. I feel more free than many of my peers whose minds are constantly occupied with chasing sex.

    Almost every single day. It's "who" I tend to talk the most with thorough the day on most days. My friends are not interested in what I'm up to. Neither is AI but at least it pretends to be. And it's not mean unlike so many people here.

  • When most people hear AI they think AGI and because a narrow-AI language model doesn't perform the way they expect an AGI to they then say stuff like "it's not intelligent" or "it's not an AI"

    AI as a term is about as broad as the term "plants" which contains everything from grass to giant redwoods. LLM is just a subcategory like conifers.
