Scottish loon sometimes in Caithness, usually in Edinburgh. Likes rugby, F1, reading, cooking, and irn bru

  • Yet still hallucinates mass bullshit and can't count, can't architect, and can't write a decent test

  • Hoshi episodes are snoozefests though. Gimme that t'pol

  • Lol, at least half. Maybe 10% actually hooked up

  • An oldie and a goldie. I was taught by one of them!

  • Reads like a shakedown by the UK government. Channel 5 may be spun out to satisfy this? Would anyone notice if it even disappeared?

  • Dullsters @dullsters.net

Picked up this set this week, hoping to help a shop relocate

  • Yup, the lesser of three evils though. I probably won't buy any of the next gen at this stage though. Can't see any game on the horizon being worth an upgrade

    Mass Effect 5 though...

  • And yet, I still won't buy a console without a drive. MS and Sony can fuck off if they think I'll buy a console from them without a disc drive. I'd much sooner buy from Gabe, who is a DRM whore, but at least has open hardware

  • Yup, Gabe did it first. DRM is not your friend

  • Anti-trust when? Clearly collaboration at this stage

  • Or even a zero 2w

  • Just staggeringly anti-consumer. I guess this will be my last console generation then, I refuse to not have a disc drive and no second hand market

  • Where they will barely get a rounding error for a fine. I wonder how much they have offered them to settle already?

  • They are rent seeking corrupters of a very popular piece of software. They are piggy backing off of many contributors' efforts and volunteered time, and the good name that was Audacity. They should be shown the door, and hard, for what they did to Audacity.

There is a lesson here too, the branding shouldn't live with a company or person. Mastodon got a lot of heat and eventually saw sense - and this is just one example of why

  • Not in a community fashion (as it was) is it still being actively developed. This is a commercial fork in essence now

  • Audacity is dead fyi, sold out a few years ago and lost their developer base. What is left are rent seekers

Tenacity is the successor, and lives actually free - enjoy!

    https://tenacityaudio.org/

  • Nope, and they 'offer' cloud integrations as an extra slap in the face.

    Tenacity it is then

  • Nah, you can't. Sex and the City did a whole episode on how good the rabbit was. And things have only gotten more creative since. Clit blaster 3000 isn't sci-fi these days

  • Am a programmer: Red <> red. Hence the red Green must be the answer
