  • I have a grey cat and so does my friend. Is it common for grey cats to be incredibly docile and chill? Both of these cats have no problem with being picked up and smooched & cuddled & carried around like fluffy widdle beebees.

  • The striped ones are tabbies.

  • That was never the criticism from anyone actually opposing Trump.

Yes it was. It was a dumb and invalid argument, but it came up more often than it ever should have. It was an EXCUSE to not vote for her, because it was easier to say that than to admit that they’re just afraid of a woman in power.

I realize there were many more valid reasons to dislike her but compared to trump, she’s a goddamn saint. Plus, I liked her VP pick better than trump’s. She also would have selected a much more competent and qualified cabinet.

The criticism is that she built her career as a cop, locking people up for minor offenses, fighting to keep them in prison for cheap labor, and then went on to campaign for the most lethal military machine on Earth.

Those are all valid criticisms, but trump built his career as a criminal, is deporting people for minor offenses, fighting to deport innocent people to prison labor camps in countries they are not even from, and then went on to campaign for the most lethal military machine on Earth.

So comparing the two with just those criticisms, it’s a wash. And then adding on all the other AWFUL shit trump is doing, especially “project 2025,” it’s no contest.

But sure, go ahead and whitewash her record because it’s easier to joke than to confront the fact that your “lesser evil” still has blood on her hands.

I’m not whitewashing anything, I made a sarcastic comment mocking the misogynists who have put a LITERAL AUTHORITARIAN MADMAN in the presidency because they couldn’t handle a woman president.

When our choices are : lesser evil or absolute evil (and the third choice is: just let absolute evil win), we really can’t let petty things like “annoying laugh” (again- just a lame excuse for misogyny) go.

I was accused of having “blood in my hands” for voting for Harris. But really, protest voting against Harris is drenching yourself in that same blood plus gallons more.

  • RDR2, when Arthur stopped to thank his (dying) horse (near the final mission). I got a lil choked up.

  • but but but guys, Kamala Harris had a weird laugh….

  • Democrats in power: “we’re not going to persecute our political rivals because it would set a bad precedent.”

Republicans in power: “we’re going to persecute our political rivals.”

  • Both sides are not the same. The Right is far worse; more corrupt, more authoritarian, more dangerous. But the Left is not without fault. What we have now is a “ratchet effect,” where the Right cranks the system further & further right, and the Left does little to nothing to crank it back to the left (or in many cases, outright stops leftward momentum).

We have no major left-wing political representation. We either need an “Antitrump” in the Democratic Party, who will take it over and warp it to become the polar opposite of trump’s new GOP. I’m talking a full-on progressive paragon. Or we need a third major party to lure progressives and moderates who are fed up with the status quo.

Personally I would rather have the former. It seems more likely. Though still not very likely.

  • Bee sexploitation free honey

  • Took me too long to remember “Arctic” and “Antarctic” and I kept wondering how “North Pole / South Pole” translated to “Bearlandia / NoBearlandia”

  • My kid is 8. I like to let him roam free in the neighborhood, but I also want to be sure I can keep track of him, or locate him if he disappears. I don’t see how this is a bad thing.

  • I’m not a big fan of plain peanuts either (again- the smell), and I don’t mind Nutella. Also I love tofu, and other soy-based foods.

  • But if I don’t like it, that it means more for everyone else.

I’m pretty open-minded about trying new foods, and there’s not a lot of foods I really hate - honestly, besides pb&j, I can’t think of a food I’d turn down.

It is weird to me that my dislike of it bothers people. I think everyone has one commonly beloved food that they don’t like. Hell, my wife hates bacon. BACON! I still love her tho. She keeps the pb&j away from me, I keep the bacon away from her.

  • “Jeepers, you sure can gobble cock like a gosh-darn champ!”

  • PB&J sandwiches. I hate them. They literally make me gag. Can’t stand the taste, the texture, the smell… even the sight of them or hearing them being made bugs me. An assault on all five of my senses.

  • Seems like you have an issue with texture more than you do flavor.

  • I’m more surprised that the crook, sex pest, and Republican are three different people.

  • She was a babe. I loved that episode of Red Shoe Diaries that she was in.

  • Misdemeanor? Just like overstaying a visa? Same punishment then. Send him to alligator auchwitz.
