  • Yes, many corporations do both internal research and development as well as research as a service. This obviously seems to include Microsoft and Google.

    I wouldn't says it's junk science, whole cloth. But it is focused on making a profit. Which does differentiate it some with say university research.

  • I don't think it's that uncommon to detain someone for 24 hours for questioning and while evidence is built. What IS embarrassing is that the name leaked and photos of the wrong person were circulated, and then they realized they had the wrong guy anyways... And now 100 hours later the shooter is still unknown and on the move.

  • It turns out that most models make next to nothing. So there are some "whales" paying for porn but they probably have specific fetishes they are getting models to cater to via their money. So I think that's the answer: men who either have a specific fetish, or their fetish is the attention they think their $50 a month is affording them. It's like micro dosing a prostitute.
