I think most people assume that if you're not loudmouthed about it, it must not be important to you. Others have just had so many negative experiences with Christianity. I have complicated feelings about that.
My wife's dresser is in the bedroom, but there's not room for another, so mine is in the children's room with their dressers. But even when I was single I didn't keep my outside clothes right next to the bed, only housewear.
After reading the other replies I feel the need to elaborate: I don't wear socks without shoes. Ever. The point of a sock is to protect the shoe from the foot.
