  • "you're going to deal with my generation until until we die, and we gave Congress and the house Medicare for ourselves so we can be around until we die of something incurable."

  • The two of them are going to have to use some of the 200 million they siphoned from the advertisement budget to pay for a Weworks office so they can continue having the most non secret affair in history.

  • Having made beef wellington a few times in different ways, I suggest individual ones. Prepare your tenderloin however you want but cut it into thick steaks, sear them then wrap those in pastry.

the other pro to doing this is that the cooking time is faster so the pastry doesn't get soggy.

A finely shredded cabbage, mushroom, and shallot mixture could Irish it up. Use just the thin leaf parts and trim the thicker stem part so you retain the taste but don't ruin the softness of the mixture or get a bag of green cabbage shredded for coleslaw

  • The man on the right says to the man of the left, "Take a step towards me and we will meet in the middle"

The man on the left says "In the spirit of bipartisanship, of course I will" and takes a step towards the man on the right.

The man on the right takes a step back, smiles and says "Take a step towards me and we will meet in the middle."

  • It may not be the intended purpose but I certainly does change how the world is seen by everyone using it to warp the mind's eye to how the world actually physically is.

Edit: Does it do an excellent job for navigational purposes if you are shipping from Japan to Brazil or it it only excellent for shipping from the northern hemisphere to the northern hemisphere?

  • They want a 2d map of earth but with every continent to true size at scale, rather than Mercator projection where the northern hemisphere is expanded to increase their importance over the southern hemisphere.

  • Neither can Cheney.

  • Hoping a cascade failure won't happen is probably the only thing to work towards.

It isn't that the world will not be habitable, it will just be inhospitable to humans in large groups. Humans are probably well past stopping temperature gains that will collapse marine ecosystems. Once those collapse what is going to collapse next? Bears rely on salmon coming back, forests rely on the minerals from the bears feeding and smaller scavenger mammals rely on the the fish too.

  • Why was this guy even used as an organ donor if his symptoms upon death were consistent with rabies?

He should have been cremated so there was nothing with rabies to pass to anything.

  • The best three things we can do in space are:

    1. Space elevator to get things up into space with less resources than all the fuel we currently use. Just need to work out a super strong material to make the cable out of.
    2. Solar power stations that send it down wirelessly to earth, they can get power without all the annoying atmosphere in the way, just need to work out how to transmit power wirelessly and safely.
    3. A way of collecting all the debris we continue to leave floating around in space and the upper atmosphere that will eventually make it harder to have things not get hit with high speed debris.
  • A domestic dispute out in the hallway, just where you want it to be /s.

Keeping a DD in the room and keeping the partners separate is better for both parties and for your cleaners having to clean up blood.

You can charge the guest for repairs on the door if they break it. The moisture buildup is minimal if there is a central duct with a larger fan pulling air out of the bathrooms at a minimum at all times.

  • The Magdalene laundries in Ireland were also like this.

The male power dynamics fight to keep women in chains.

  • My computer was crashing constantly, never figured out what it was but I switched over to Linux Mint to see if it was something to do with the software and hardware having an issue since I couldn't find a hardware only issue.

I liked the environment but was still having crashes. So I upgraded MoBo, GPU, CPU, RAM, PSU, HDD and installed Mint again. It didn't work out because Mint didn't have driver support for my newer GPU so I changed over to Nobara and it is very good.

  • That looks like a face cord aka 1/3 of a cord.

A cord is 4 ft tall, 8 ft wide, and 4 ft deep.

  • Not to mention filled to the brim with lard.
