  • it's #4 behind VOY, DS9, and TNG

I largely agree with you here, with the exception of VOY.Only Trek series I had to force myself through (even omitting an especially bad season almost completely - I think it was season 2...?).Didn't watch Discovery yet, though, and not sure if I should... ;-)

  • Happy to have first watched Enterprise more than ten years after its initial run.Let me watch it objectively without too much influencing from outside...

  • I think the X-Files episode was named after the astronomic constellation. So we both might be right. :-)Only OP can tell...

  • To go with the X-Files theme it might perhaps rather be "Big Blue"... :-)

  • Is your dog named "Queequeg" by any chance?

  • But for dinos there is also T-Rex and Velociraptor.Sooo.... Maybe!

  • Monopoly.

From old worn-out shoe to indestructible battleship - everything is possible!

Still remembering all those epic battles among the siblings on who gets to play the racing car... Good stuff!

  • Someday I'll be someone's favorite mammal!

  • So just a drunk doing stupid drunk things in traffic? Not even half as funny any more...

  • Thanks! I was somewhat confused before reading the article, too.I now still have to find out what a "DUI" is...

  • More recent most promising theory, that could explain it, seems to be that the universe is just spinning somewhat. There go the "unknown, new physics", if this proves to be correct...

  • There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

  • ls there a mandatory number of driving lessons or would it be possible to just do the tests and get the license for £85?E.g. for the rural kid that started driving agricultural equipment on private ground at age 5?

  • Have to backpaddle, as you are right.

I now have read the article and the fees given in the heading actually refer only to the theoretical tests.

Got a different impression before based on the brief, as it also mentioned the practical test...

  • But unfortunately, that are not the only fees you have to pay.Minimum pay is ~2500€ if you are lucky, to cover all the mandatory parts you need to get a license.

  • Silently crying in German, knowing this to be the price here if you manage to pass on the first try...

  • So looks like Bluebrixx lost the Star Trek license to Lego then...Shame, they had some really nice models :-(

I have a small (~300pcs each) Enterprise-A and a Bird of Prey. And a 1:1 klingon d'k tahg knife with movable parts, which is really cool looking.

  • That's surprising.Texas would have been the last place I would have expected someone to put something with a sexual context on their car, short of Afghanistan perhaps.I am really surprised and wondering what other of my expectations might be wrong...

  • Must be an... interesting... area.Where are you from?
