Healing. Can you imagine how happy the world would be? Parents with a sick child can take them to the park for the first time. Bed ridden people can see the world with their own eyes as opposed to a screen. Despair and grief would change to happiness and serenity. I'd be crazy busy but if it means that everyone everywhere is guaranteed to live a long, happy life, I'd gladly pay the price.
For me, it was highschool. I had a great group of friends, almost everyday my cousins and friends would be visiting. Some days I had 4-6 people all visiting me. Mom and dad were happy and healthy. I didn't need money so I didn't care I was broke. I was in love with a beautiful person who I still think about.
Now, in my 20s, I stay in my one bedroom apartment that costs more than my paycheque and I haven't seen a human face in almost a week.
Under $40k a year. But, it's just me and it's enough to cover food and rent and sometimes allows me to eat out once in a while but not enough to do anything else. So, I definately don't feel rich.
The piano. I used to play almost everyday and I got pretty good at it but I rarely play it now. Just yesterday was the first time I played it in a couple years
My cousin taught me a word the night before that meant fart. So, I used it the next day in class when I was telling a joke about how I farted. Yeah, queef doesn't quite mean what I thought it meant.
I play the piano but haven't touched it in a while. But, at peak, I was playing pretty good since I did it for over 10 years. My favorite thing to do whenever I can bring myself to do it is come up with chords and melodies. I rarely write things down but the ones I do, I turn into electronic music.
Romantic movies. I love me a good romance movie or TV series where the characters go through all these tribulations, drama, or some sort of stressful situation but in the end they end up together and get married. I don't think anyone I know knows this, but I've cried to a few of them and I'm not a cryer. I love me a nice, happy, romantic ending.
Characters. I love designing characters and doing a deep dive into who they are and why they're designed the way they are. For example, I did one recently about a girl who is a mechanist in my Victorian modern world who works on robots and airship but likes to go to a dance club at night. She keeps her goggles from work since they're seen as fashion in this world and wears a distinctive hair clip that was given as a gift to her from someone dear to her before the war. And, then there's another guy I did that is basic rich kid egotistical. Looks like and ultra Chad and has the dance moves to show for it. Basically, he's like the ultra Chad meme in this world.
