I think it is stupid to lie about little things. It takes too much effort in every day life - so it's easier to not over share and boast about stupid things.
You will have to keep track of those anc that's just work for no gain. Because lies never feels like a real achievement, and eventually you will be found out.
If you decide to make up a lie - think it through and look for weak spots and illogical parts. Do the work upfront so the stress is off your shoulder.
The funny thing if they were using that money to build utilities / buildings for the community to use - that could be applauded. But they are taking money to pay for a for profit company, that will provide for profit services, that will disturb locals for profit.
I saw them long ago. I believe I liked them - tho it gave Batman a different tone.It is very interesting how Batman is one of those characters that change tones swinging any direction.I grew up seeing episodes from the og Batman series, then the animated ones (even Batman Beyond) - and I still like Batman forever. These were all different in tones.
The 'new' ones are more modern action movie style, in my recall it was a good popcorn flick. It reminds me of the 'new' Star Trek movies - as is not Star Trek but a good movie.
I think I am going to do a Batman binge - thanks for the reminder :)
I "invested" in metal measuring cups. No more extra added microplastics in my food.Same thing with glass food storage containers. (same reason)Also the reusable cups with steel/silicone straws. (you can see my pattern)Ohh! And wooden/bamboo cutting boards, wooden spoons/spatulas. (needless to say anything else)
Who am I to say this strip isn't rage bait? There are too many weirdos that can be offended by anything. To me it was a bland comic - nothig worth writing home about it. But the amount of hate this generates really leaves me confused and fascinated.
It is just really interesting how much haters - and I am not calling you one here - keep engaging over it.
There are cominc strips here that I really dislike, but I just skip over it. Sometimes even upvote them because lemmy needs the content and new posts. And upvote will encourage people to post more and better stuff.
I don't disagree but I don't like this article.Internet is just human. You see the negativity and the loudest people and keep forgetting about the silent majority.
Open source projects, people organizing events/ charities, communities geeking out over the same stuff, Wikipedia - basically all the human knowledge is at your fingerprints.
Scammers, abusers, margin groups, hate groups - they are all there. It is just so much easier to see the negative parts.

Am I keeping the profits? Then gambling game lootbixes micro transactions and subscriptions with live service. Probably some bland shooter builder. Lots of gambling.Profits don't matter:A game that works without Internet, but has coop and even couch co op. Probably a semi open world exploration puzzle game in a fantasy setting. Probably with dragons - similar to baldurs gate 3, but mix it up with black dessert + give it a bit more of a traditional zelda twist of gating content behind progression. And it would have mods and generative levels/maps also. Added some farming and homd management also - with real life events and regular releases of new official content. Later on couple dlcs that's not cosmetic but actual added gameplay.
