  • This is my go-to "can't be arsed to cook properly" dish. But I add peperoncino as well. Like a nice fiery rawit chilli.

  • Per another commenter (and the article):

When the battery dies, the glasses continue to function as a traditional pair of single-vision specs, ensuring the wearer is never left in the dark or have safety compromised such as when driving or operating machinery.

  • Are these the auto-focus ones? If so, that's surprisingly slim.... If there are no other components.

  • Ohhh, nice. Do you have an aquarium?

  • Don't give users an ugly prototype for exactly that reason. Also, users conflate looks and functionality so make it don't look ugly. You should give them an MVP. Emphasis on the V for "viable". The things it does it should do well. It should just do the minimum amount of things.

  • Portal: Revolution is awesome!

  • Not to be confused with Outer Worlds, the Morning bsidian RPG. That one is also good but nowhere near as mind-blowing as Outer Wilds is

  • I did 36 (4x9) until I had kids. Then I switched to 32 (4x8) so I would be home earlier.

  • I went sky duving once, with a free fall. You can breathe just fine ☺️

  • ...why do you need a parachte in a bottomless pit? It's not like you need it to land?

  • The problem isn't mygitwrapper.sh. You need to know those git commands to write that wrapper. The problem is people taking someone else's mygitwrapper.sh and using that instead of learning git.

  • I always tell people "There is nothing more permanent that a temporary hack that works". It also means that sometimes I will refuse the hack because I know ut will become permanent.
