  • The nature here is the only reason i didn't leave years ago. The beaches are great, the everglades are amazing. Hell, i even really enjoy our scrub forests. Id miss it for sure but its getting bad here.

  • I applied for a job at K-Mart many years ago. This was at the tail end of their "good" years here. Anyways, the interviewer pulled this shtick on me. I replied with something like "Its a pen. It writes." They werent thrilled with that and dismissed me right away. Like, bitch this is a K-Mart not a damn Saks Fifth Ave or something.

  • Scrap metal - if you have a truck you can cruise neighborhoods on trash days and get metal scrap. beware the long time scrappers though, don't piss them off by treading on their turf.Plasma - depending on where you sell your plasma, you could make around $200 a week. You could also make a LOT less and end up with nasty track marks on your arm.Day labor - Theres probably a day labor place near you that you can go to and get a days work. They will send you somewhere different each time. Its usually tough physical work but the pay can be decent. Downside is you usually need to be there around 4am.Upselling - if you get lucky on craigslist or facebook market or some such, you can find free stuff that you can flip for profit. This is a crap shoot most of the time and usually requires an investment to get it to sell worthy.

  • I had a dream that spanned maybe 40 years. I fell in love, married a woman with thick blond hair and green eyes, grew into our early retirement years and then suddenly, she died. I was heart broken. It happened so fast in the dream, I think it was cancer or some other sickness that took her. I woke up sobbing and confused. It took me a solid hour of laying there processing what just happened before i could get up and start my life again.
