  • Do you know how many salaries we could cut if I just get rid of the legislative branch? -Trump very soon lol

  • Wish we could get a class action lawsuit and sue Alphabet for pushing misinformation into our homes and spreading dangerous information that will kill people. Say $1,000 per person, and sue for $347 billion, or w.e the population is now. The MAGA people can choose to not cash their checks if they want. And I'm sure Google would gladly show that 99% of the population did, which would prompt the other 1% to do so.

  • Yeah, they could have had homework

  • Yeah when asked if she thought he was fascist, she responded "you could say that".

Anyone who thinks she was calling him communist in these statements is intentionally looking for something to be mad about. The lady isn't even running for anything, and likely never will again.

She thinks Trump is a tyrant. These comments started on Fox/News Max, then I saw them make their way into Hexbear, to ML and now being posted here. Seems the Left and Right agree that it's best fight centrists to ensure the status quo stays in power.

  • I was talking about boxes/cans for food, like say ramen, cheese it's, swiss cake rolls, green beans what have you.

The dead fetuses is a reference to the way countries have tried to use scare tactics on products to get them not to use a product. Like cigarettes. I don't want them to do that shit with food as well, but bad diets, such as added high fructose corn syrups and what not I was advocating for foods having main colors for boxes and maybe a letter on the can for colorblind people. That says to a purchaser who isn't going to read, this soup isn't as bad for me as this other soup. Or when buying snacks for their kids they know are going to sneak them, they can buy snacks/chips etc that are better or worse intentionally with little effort. Bad diets have been and will always be the #1 highest cost to a countries healthcare and leading the natural early death rates.

Example of what I don't want:

  • "Containers by design are suppose to be temporary and the runtime data is recreated each time the container is launched. The persistent data is all you should care for."

So that's really why they should be good for Jellyfin/File servers, as the data isn't needing to be stored in container, just the run files. I suppose the config files as well.

When I reverse proxy to my network using wireguard (set up on the jellyfin server, I also think I have a rustdesk server on there) on the other hand, is it worth using a container, or is that just the same either way?

I have shoved way to many things on an old laptop, but I never have to touch it really, and the latest update mint put out actually cured any issues I had. I used to have to reboot once a week or so to get everything back online when it came to my Pihole and shit. Since the latest update I ran in September 4th, I haven't touched it for anything. Screen just stays closed in a corner of my desk with other shit stacked on top

  • So let's say I theoretically wanted to move a docker container to another device or maybe if I were re-installing an OS or moving to another distro, could I in theory drag my local docker container to an external and throw my device in a lake and pull that container off into the new device? If so .. what then, I link the startups, or is there a "docker config" where they are all able to be linked and I can tell it which ones to launch on OS launch, User launch, delay or what not?

  • When you say binaries do you mean locally stored directories kind of like what Lutris or Steam would do for a Windows game. (Create a fake c:\ )

  • For me it's lack of understanding usually. I haven't sat down and really learned what docker is/does. And when I tried to use it once I ended up with errors (thankfully they all seemed contained by the docker) but I just haven't gotten around to looking more into than seeing suggestions to install say Pihole in it. Pretty sure I installed Pihole outside of one. Jellyfin outside, copyparty outside, and I something else im forgetting at the moment.

I was thinking of installing a chat app in one, but I put off that project because I got busy at work and it's not something I normally use.

I guess I just haven't been forced to see the upsides yet. But am always wanting to learn

  • He was going to give Santa a call and verify but they had a falling out after a leprechaun and the Easter Bunny played a prank on them last Halloween and neither figured out it wasn't the other who played the prank.

  • Sorry mate, elevator is out of service because someone pulled the fire alarm

  • Can you get to the United Nations without entering the U.S., no. Do you need a passport to enter or leave the U.N., no.

Do you need to remember you have a knife in your pocket, you probably should... I saw the metal detectors got worried at 19 or so and went back out front stashed my pocket knife in the trash can next to one of the umpteen NYPD officers that seem to be everywhere.

Took the tour and when I left I grabbed my knife out between the can and the case while a cop looked at me in a manner that made me wonder how that conversation was going to go.

"Sorry officer I just needed to stash this because I didn't know if they would hold it at security."

  • I've never looked into it but thought embassies were "territory" lended to the embassies by the country they were placed in. If not it really shoots holes in the conservative talking point that people applying for political asylum should do so at an embassy, because you can only apply for asylum once on U.S. soil I thought

  • Yeah, and my favorite part is that the UN said the White House was responsible for the prompter. So they likely just forgot a flash drive or something dumb

So not only does the host not know what an insurrection is, nor what the UN is apparently, they clearly don't care at all about anything but spreading hate

  • The question to me is how could we fix it. I believe prison should be about herabilitation, but overall I'd say most of the population does not. Someone gets a DUI, robs a store, commits fraud, gets in a fight, beats their spouse, stabs someone, murders someone... whatever it is. People say they should be imprisoned, many say they should never be let out especially on multiple offenses. Most of the prisoners take the jobs because it is used as a "privilege.". You have to have good behavior to be eligible, then you choose one if you want with benefits that slowly "work off" hours of their sentences. (If it's available). Certain jobs pay more time off their sentences than others, and some will try to get into those jobs. Yet we will have people who scream that they shouldn't be let out after 5 years because they "insert crime here".

IF leaving their imprisonment and performing tasks in the world around people with good behavior isn't a step to proving they are re-integratable into society, what is? I would say they need a hell of a lot more therapy, access to actual healthcare, psychologists, and resources that allow for easy integration back into society so they can find gainful employment, cut ties with their past and land on two feet to be able to move forward without extreme struggles that bring them back in.

Our country doesn't vote for that, because those same things aren't available for citizens on the street who didn't commit crimes yet. And they think they are better and don't deserve less opportunities than those who did something illegal.

So I guess what I'm saying is the first step to reforming our prisons is reforming our healthcare system... And wage inequality... And fuck... It's not going anywhere

  • The knight keeps an eye on the lion, builds a domicile, raises a family and makes sure his family is wary, the lion keeps finding easier game mostly injured animals breaking from the herd. The lion dies from old age, then so does the knight. We know how this ends. With the knights descendants eventually having to preserve land for the lions and protect them from humans slaughtering all of the lions for fun. The match ends when humanity accelerates the earth into another ice age and is to worried about its own people to think preserving lions would be a good use of their food supplies. Lions go extinct, humans lose a lot... But get a second chance.

  • I mean the sheer amount of sugar in our food has to be the largest cost to lifespans/healthcare in the U.S.

Id like to see us make a change over time introducing not bans but better ways to regulate packaging.

I don't want it to have warnings everywhere and dead fetuses and shit, I just want things like, green boxes, blue boxes, magenta boxes, stuff like that. Maybe an easy to see letter in the lower left for those who are color blind

  • Best I can do is arrest all the parents who gave their kids Tylenol for neglect and put them in camps.

And the kids too. Oh and we can give them all free jobs while they are there to give them the opportunity for them to learn new trades.

These non-human second rate child abusers need to be separated from us, they were attacking the children!
