How are red flag laws geared towards conservatives? Are they more likely to have someone report them as suicidal?
Also how would removing a gun from a suicidal person be comparable to taking a person against their will and more than likely getting them fired from work and thrown in poverty?
The only difference would be that money we spent would be going to the companies instead of the government. Tarrifs are a government putting taxes on their people to strangle industries in other countries. In both scenarios we pay the same, but the flow of money is different
That will cause huge issues possibly. Do you live near there? We need to get this information to the public in those areas. Even if it is raining. Do not cross without checking over and over. We need to ban them from being there, but we need to protect the people first. 1 life may overturn the law, but 1 life shouldn't be lost. It's better we figure out an alternative
I didn't say anything about whether it was adequate. The fact is it is going live. Trying to find weak spots and dangerous areas and point them out to people is all we can do at this stage.
It is distraction. Russia doesn't gain anything from getting Moscow burned to the ground. The number of U.S. citizens that want to shoot Canadian citizens is low. And the only way that 31 countries (NATO) don't attack the U.S. in defense of Canada is if they think Russia is a big enough threat to keep them from coming. Ukraine has proved Russia is not. Russia would lose all the ground gained in Ukraine soon as Poland and Germany started air raids on Russia. Poland would have no issue burning Moscow to the ground without ever setting boots in Russia. There is no benefits to any of it. The only benefit is to Trump where he would be able to seize war time powers. In the mean time more than half of America would be livid with the U.S. government getting us sucked into WW3 and be trying to not only oust the current government but actively sabotaging factories making drones or any wartime gear. 2/3s of this country would likely WANT us to lose the war so we could fix our government and get back to relative peace. Shit, NYC itself would likely blow up the Statue of Liberty.
Nothing good would come from WW3, and that's what it would bring.
Trump will never be in it. His security detail could never allow him to drive in it. Nor would the back seat ever be as comfortable as what he usually drives in so he wouldn't want to be in it unless it was for press purposes. There's a reason the Cadillac cost over a million dollars that the presidents usually drive around in.
Austin should just pull the permits until all the taxis have lidar installed and tested. Or write a bill that fines the manufacturer $100 billion for any self driving car that kills a person and puts the proceeds 50% to the family and 50% to infrastructure. One of the first rules of robotics was always about not harming humans.
The question there would be does Austin have crosswalks that don't have red lights. Many places put a light at every cross walk, but not all. Most beaches don't have them at every crosswalk, they just have laws that if someone is in or entering the crosswalk you have to stop for the pedestrians. (They would all be at risk from what you are saying).
Is that the second one, with the 3rd trying to be in Costa Rica? I knew they were moving people to a more wooded area but I didn't know where in central/south America it was.
Oh I agree it would help with birth rates. And mental health of the population. But healthy isn't what we do around here. I watched a woman with 1 arm being told off last night at work that she wasn't likely to be able to keep her performance numbers up and should consider quitting instead of trying to ask her if she would find a better fit somewhere else that would work better for her situation. They are hiring like crazy so just about every position is open. The people watch you go through a metal detector on the way in and tell you to take your keys out and try again. You can do that all day with 1 arm. (Strange that we have that, but huge company and many expensive parts I assume they are worried people might be walking out with. Or maybe it's for cameras coming in... Idk. Either way, they are hiring for positions that don't require you to belittle someone but rather find a better use, it's not like they could have gotten through interviews and paperwork without disclosing they had a disability. (Not to mention companies get tax write offs for having employees with disabilities last I checked)
-sorry for the rant, new contract one week down and learning what kind of company it is
A grammatical error in a translation from a foreign galactic basic to English is what ruined the force for you? Lol. If we can believe in defying gravity, I think we can believe "The iceburgs is the ship's fear."
I believe in leave for having a child but how do you picture this working unless it is government funded? Lad and lass get out of college at 22. Enter their first job. Are there for 6 months to a year, and then take a year off, go back to work for 6-12 months, off for a year. Now they are 25-26 years old, 2 kids and have at most 2 years of experience in their field. Have only worked for the company for most 2 years and had 2 years off. In which then many would leave that job as it no longer fits around their schedules assuming the business didn't do layoffs and such.
I know a lot of people think they'll wait till their older to have kids but a lot of that is about time and financial security. If I knew my job was secure when I was coming out of college I would have married my then fiancee and would have reproduced 2-3 times at that age. Putting 60,000 young humans in a small area made for a lot of active fit horny people. I know a lot of Universities are smaller, but either way, I can't see any small businesses surviving it. They'd all have to choose to hire 35+ year old workers to lower their odds of paying out the leave. (Unless like mentioned previously it's all covered by the state)
If someone can't say that Israel is wiping innocent lives off their homeland in a fashion that can only be described as a genocide without it being deemed illegal and grounds for a criminal offense and/or other punishments, freedom of speech does not exist. It is in no way anti semitism. Israel is a state, not a religion. Long before Israel was paying politicians in the U.S. for their states best interests whether for the good of humanity or not, Jewish people existed, and long after the U.S. and Israel are gone, Judiasm will likely be here. Judiasm isn't asking them to murder children, politicians are ordering it.
Many families don't throw away guns, they pass them down. So antiques are a plenty as well. Being that his dad was born in 1915, it's very likely they have guns from before WW1 around.
