  • I'd love a bear as a pet. Not to ride necessarily, but just for hugs.

I mean, they look very cuddly irl. I know they're dangerous and I would probably be mauled alive... but I'm just saying, there's a reason why one of the most popular and beloved toys of all time is a cuddly doll made in the likeness of a bear cub

  • Yeah, red panda would make for an adorable pet!

    1. They're cute and fluffy
    2. All they want is to nom nom on their yummy leaves.
    3. Have you seen that thing they do where they put up their arms to make them look more menacing? That doesn't really work, and to me, it just looks like the cute little panda want uppsies.

    I want a red panda

  • The version of the Little Einsteins theme song i would sing in middle school and high-school everytime we went on a field trip on a school bus

We're going on a trip, in our favorite piece of shit! Doin' 95, we'll probably fucking die!

The teachers hated it but a bunch of the other kids thought it was funny and would sing along

But really though, have you ever ridden on the highway in a schoolbus during a fieldtrip? This is absolutely what it felt like, that you were going 95 mph with no seatbelts and you were gonna die

  • No and see that's the funny thing. I've had people try to call me stupid or the r slur, but like, they couldn't even be bothered to spell "you are" you're correctly. That always makes me laugh, because oh the irony!

  • Any time anyone starts throwing insults and slurs at me like a Frisbee in lieu of an actual counterarguement

  • For some reason when I was a kid, I thought the song "Jessie's Girl" by Rick Springfield said "You know I wish that I had Tootsie Rolls" instead of "You know I wish that I had Jessie's Girl".

I still don't know why i thought he was singing about tootsie rolls, but that's how I used to sing along to it

  • Hot take? Maybe. Conspiracy theory? Probably a better description for what i am about to say.

I truly believe that the reason the "No Child Left Behind Act" was made/passed, at least in part, was to try and make kids "blind", so to speak, as to the wrong/evil that the government is doing.

Or at the very least, that's why book bans are a thing.

  • Oh my stars, this has got to be, single handedly, the absolute best answer I've ever received on any post!

Oh my goodness this had me laughing out loud for a good 5 minutes and I'm still laughing.

Thank you for the good chuckle, I love to laugh. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day and week

  • Toys collecting. Especially dolls and or stuffed animals.

When a guy collects Pokémon figures, that's fine and cool.

However when I like to buy myself Bratz dolls and Hello Kitty stuff and cute plushies, I'm told I am childish and I need to grow up🙄😒

  • I was 18 years old at the time this happened

I was walking downtown, and this older white wman (he looked like he was in his forties) was walking towards me and said to me "Hey, you're pretty cute for a little n***er girl". (I'm Black you can fill in the blanks I'm sure) and he tried to touch me

And that made me so mad, I felt my face get hot, and i just kicked him in the groins and punched him in the face as hard as I could and then ran away from him fast as I could.

  • Technically, this has less to do with me and more to do with my mother.

When my mother was pregnant with me, she didn't even know she was pregnant until 7 months into the pregnancy.

I know what you're probably thinking: "How did my mom not realize she was pregnant for that long?", because I wondered this too.

But apparently, according to my mom, I was not growing in her stomach, I somehow moved and was laying flat in her back, so she really didn't notice any significant weight gain.

So when she scheduled a visit to the doctor, because she was feeling oddly sick, the doctor had her do an X-ray/sonogram, and the nurse came in with the results and said to my mom: "We figured out the issue; Congratulations, you're pregnant with twins!"

"What?? TWINS‽" My mother exclaimed in confusion, "No, that can't be right. I can't take care of twins right now!"

And the nurse said "but ma'am, the results show two babies, look!" And my mom told me sure enough, there were two babies in the pictures.

This was in December 2003. In February 2004, I was born.

Just me though. My twin didn't make it: the womb absorbed them. Apparently the technical term for that is Vanishing Twin Syndrome.

But hey, it worked out perfectly: my mom told the doctors when she was about to give birth "I am only leaving out of here with one baby!" and she got her wish.

  • Being more playful. Find more things to laugh and smile about.

Tap into my inner child, getting back into the things I loved as a child because I am a kidult with free will.

Sleep with stuffed animals and taking a plushie with me when I go out, despite what people may think.

Look for glimmer moments in my day.

The world is a hot pile of shitty dumpster fire, but I won't let it take away my smile and wonder and laughter. I will be happy in spite of the world
