  • Unpopular? Well it's more of a design fundamental that has been completely shit upon by the new crop of people who think they're designers. I say it over and again and people hate me for it thus I think it qualifies:

    If a visual design doesn't work in 1 bit it doesn't work. I don't care if MS or Goog or some other popular thing has gradients in their design; it's wrong.

  • From the standpoint of anybody reasonably handy, we all know we can buy tools. Any time I see a discarded or abused tool I'll salvage it just because I know I can grind or channel out the head to make custom drivers. That's not the problem.

    It's that the company is going to use this as a play to illegally monopolize and stifle competition.

  • Literally not even a novel design and in my opinion, not patentable.

    Didn't Audi edit: try some similarly outrageous stunt about 25 years ago? Something like no user access to the engine compartment at all? As in go to the dealer to have them remove the front of your car and refill your washer fluid. I remember that went over like a limestone cloud and I don't think they pulled the trigger on that design. Car people, where are you?

  • Also I'm disabled and it's le terally the only way I can access food.

    All disabled people prior to door delivery service died of starvation. All of them, because it's the only way to access food when disabled. There are ZERO other methods of accessing food.

  • I live in a food desert, so I have no choice but to buy restaurant food and have it hand delivered to me.

    It doesn't occur to me to take a cab to the supermarket and stock up. Actually it does but I don't want to, because that takes time and effort. Cooking takes time and effort as well and I'm too lazy to learn or try.

    But let me underscore again that really the problem is I live in a food desert. Also fast food is so expensive can't someone do something about it? Don't I have rights?

  • Equal parts soy sauce & water. Crushed black pepper, crushed hot pepper, grated ginger, sugar. Bring to boil, add ginger when off boil.

    You can go extra with a crushed clove, 1 star anise petal to get some aromatics.

    You can thicken it with a touch of rice flour or other flour.
