The influx of new users in the last 4 months has shown me there needs to be some disincentive for posting the same regurgitated sentiment-based shit that you see every time you log in. Regurgitated sentiments and memes represent 95% of the content... yes AI bad... Israel bad... Cheese powder face man bad... I feel depressed... I can't afford a house... robots took my job. How many times can we as a community re-state what we already know to be true.
I know it's not implausible, but the fabrication about contacting the company that had the contract to make the signs blew it all apart, the fonts are heavily controlled and copyrighted and they would lose the city contract if they got caught, no sign printing company is going to go out of business to make six bucks off some random dude.
With the 3 hours you're able to commit, scale back the scope to one single core (killer) feature. Slash 97% of the functionality you've imagined. If you can't "sell" based on that it's doomed anyways.
As an analogy if you have 3 hours and ya wanna start a food service it's gonna be a cart you push around and vend cakes you made in the evening. Forget menus, dishes and tables.
In the mating game it's up to the guys to advertise interest and the gals to make a choice.
Women are pros at dealing with endless expressions of interest, they rarely know how to show/express it. Just be respectful and let go of expectations going in.
Don't let the endless whining seen on social media deter you, it's mostly lies.
If men bore the babies and women had to do the mating advertising, the human race would be extinct.
You don't have to live up to any kind of ridiculous standard, but you have to embrace all of the unpleasant tasks that come with inviting people to your space.
The biggest one is that you can't have people leaving filthy and covered in cat hair.
I know you have a cat, but you have to figure out how to balance your cat ownership and your desire or intention to host people in your home.
Clean the cat hair. Vacuum the furniture. Think about how you would feel if you had a cat allergy and had to go to somebody's home and drag all that filth home with you.
Don't get me wrong, I like cats, but let's be real.
Persecution is baked right into the Christian religion. It's also deeply rooted in the Jewish culture, to the point if you're randomly walking down the street and trip over a duck, the duck was being anti-semitic.
It's such a core part of identity for these people it's kind of sickening. Before you come at me, I was raised in a Christian household and I have Jewish roots from my maternal side.
There's no hate, but I'm actually disappointed and continually revolted by the endless sense of persecution that doesn't really exist.
Any holiday which compartmentalizes a normal human behavior, I do not participate.
If you need a day set aside to ceremonially 'show' your partner that you love them, or you need a day to show your family that you want to spend time, none of it is real.
Unpopular? Well it's more of a design fundamental that has been completely shit upon by the new crop of people who think they're designers. I say it over and again and people hate me for it thus I think it qualifies:
If a visual design doesn't work in 1 bit it doesn't work. I don't care if MS or Goog or some other popular thing has gradients in their design; it's wrong.
From the standpoint of anybody reasonably handy, we all know we can buy tools. Any time I see a discarded or abused tool I'll salvage it just because I know I can grind or channel out the head to make custom drivers. That's not the problem.
It's that the company is going to use this as a play to illegally monopolize and stifle competition.
Literally not even a novel design and in my opinion, not patentable.
Didn't Audi edit: try some similarly outrageous stunt about 25 years ago? Something like no user access to the engine compartment at all? As in go to the dealer to have them remove the front of your car and refill your washer fluid. I remember that went over like a limestone cloud and I don't think they pulled the trigger on that design. Car people, where are you?
