  • If I'm sitting on the couch, the phone is not on me. It's on the table next to me or on a counter somewhere. I don't even always look at it if I get a message. Sometimes I'll wait hours after I get a message to read it.

  • This can probably be argued that places that deny phones, like courts, could be charged with criminal intent against you.

  • They had tanks there. I think that would have been more performative.

    Wooof,.... kableeeewy,.... SPLAT

    Grand applause

  • Can someone explain how this would work?

I think to pull this off California would need to enact some sort of large state tax and then offer tax rebates. Then California could capture the money before it's sent to the fed.

  • This Canadian doesn't want the added baggage of American guns, Jesus, and hubris.

  • I'm clubbing the bot in the head and stealing it's batteries.

  • 'Squeeze me.

  • LOL. New phone cases are going to have little privacy sliders to go over the cameras.

  • I see you've bought into the globey lie of a round earth.

  • "STOP RESISTING"

  • I’m old enough to remember when the advice people gave to deal with a bully was “Beat their ass and they’ll stop.”

Our method was to covertly fuck with them.

They were bigger and could beat the shit out of us, but once we learned the location of their locker in gym class, they often left gym selling of various old lady perfumes.

They dominated the kickball field - sneak into the supply closet and slash the kickballs.

We'd turn our papers in at the teachers desk as we left for lunch. Sneak back in later when the teacher is away and steal the bully papers.

The beauty is they feel like the world is out for them. They either lash out and fuck up big time or fall in line.

  • Why (I don't see) not

  • I'm a big fan of Vivaldi as well for all the reason you mentioned, but also it's more lightweight than Chrome and still supports uBlock

  • We always called them mouse nipples.

  • Each?!?!

Fuck that. I'll pay $300 for the set and let them do the work for me. LOL

  • About $300 is what the mechanics in the area usually charge. The dealership is more.

  • I don't have a big, stupid, oversized, vehicle with blind spots. I can park normally.

  • I hate all these automatic sensors in new cars. I don't usually buy new cars, I get ones that are a few years used. Almost all of them have a light on the dash for a "tire error" because the stupid sensor has died and no one in their right mind wants to spend $300 to replace a thing that tells you your tire pressure is low. Plus, the things die in a few years anyway.

I just do the Homer Simpson solution and put a bit of black tape over the tire error light.

  • He's never leaving.
