I used to love the newsgroups and what I liked about reddit was its similarity to it in some ways. this is even more so because rec, alt, etc where in some ways like instances.
I think the most common thing is something will happen and you will say you should do X but if you are in the situation you won't do X because you don't have time to think about it enough.
all robot manufacturers should be trying to make robots that can maintain and repair the robot. like they had one that could changed its batteries but they should change each others batteries.
having to be careful about how much fish you eat due to mercury is one of the top dystopian things to me. People think about agriculture and grains with civilization but when you look at how important and common fish was to our diet for so long. Its crazy.
my golden does the between the legs dance thing that people put on youtube. I think she thinks shes a cat. hates rain and water (to be clear the breed is bread for water). she does some other cat like things but I can't recall them but I know them when I see them.
when my wife and I met she was after me and I had eyes for her friend. Honestly im not very good at wooing so maybe this was the best situation for me.
when I was in school which is when a lot of movies showed stuff like this. Only kids with money bought from the cafeteria or if they qualified for a program. the middle level often brought lunch. actually so did wealthier types. in high school people could work jobs and have money and some spent some of it at the cafeteria. enough that it was pretty busy. I think movies have showed the kids who went in line sometimes sitting down with kids who are brown bagging in some movies.

yeah I keep imagining how different things would be if we had 8 years of gore instead of bush in the first 8 years of the millenium. we got screwed on that hanging chad.
Nah. I just wish I could get the phone I want at a good price. Which is a dumb (feature) phone where you can connect by usb and edit things like the calendar and contacts in a web browser and heck the phones settings and such. More importantly that it have a data connection and you could click a button to have it act as an access point and give you a code to use on your laptop to connect to it. I don't feel those feature should more than double a cheap dumb phones price.
these are not easy to make without them falling apart.
