  • This became a Today I Learned... I always thought this was a too weird to be true fact. I learned in biology that all living things have to produce waste, so that makes sense.

  • Face mites live out their entire life cycles without ever pooping once. They lack any anal opening, storing waste inside their own body cells until they die and decompose.

  • Here I was, using TPB all these years and I didn't notice they were selling merch back then. LMAO.

  • I hate the new age of digital games. soon physical games will be antiques. most already are. I gave away all my old PS2 games, I wonder how much they and my N64 games would have been worth.

  • Ursula from the little mermaid.

  • I guess you have a point. I just never used them. Never had a problem without them, and officiated their use in my understanding and decided they aren't necessary. They are necessary for the reasons I described. The question is how much risk am I taking without a VPN, as I never got hacked. I also never use antivirus. Scan my PC with an AI Agent to search for malware weekly and never had a problem in the past several years atleast. I never had a virus, never had my info stolen or identity. But that is not necessarily a reason not to protect yourself, I get it. I just don't want the extra bill, even if they are pretty cheap these days.

  • Accurate, right down to the look.

  • That would be too much work for a moderater, unless a bot were to do the work.

  • IMO, VPNs are a waste of money unless you plan on pirating content or changing your location on your device to access say better Netflix's shows. Other than that, there are already security features built in to your phone and you don't need a VPN. It's unnecessary. Just don't do any sketchy stuff on it.

  • A skilled musician can convert sheet music notes to "do rey mi" type sounds almost second hand. It just takes me awhile and doesn't come naturally to me.

  • If it satisfies you and your partner, I wouldn't call it unhealthy. If it didn't, you wouldn't do it. It serves a purpose in your relationship. Embrace it.

  • I just watched a video on YouTube from a neurobiologist that explained how short form content really harms your brain and, since, have reduced my exposure by at least 75%.

  • Thanks. I learned something new today.

  • Oh, I hadn't heard about that. Axing what people would do these days. Idiots.

  • Thanks for your response.
