  • There's not another option. Platner is incredibly popular - outfundraising the sitting democrat governor! - and vocally supports some progressive causes.

    Susan Collins has consistantly voted with our fascist regime while pretending she's a moderate. She needs to go.

    The effort and money the regime is focusing against Platner shows how much of a threat they see him as. He does need to win, and opponents of our fascist regime shouldn't be listening to the regime's attempts to defeat him.

  • Quit using fb years back, maybe five? Have checked it twice to message people i've no other contacts for.

    I've used reddit maybe a half dozen times since moving to fediverse during the 3rd party app exodus. Each time to find a specific niche thing, often to no avail.

    So i'd say honestly no, but i never like social media much to begin with.

  • I'd love to go back, i really want to visit like a million historical sites and food places. I've heard such good things about Hunan food. I always make sure to say "要大辣" when i order chinese here in the US, hoping they will make it proper spicy.

    I studied for a semester in 云南. 好想吃米线啊！

    I miss so much food from China. Stumbling home drunk and getting fried rice cooked over one of those intense burners that sound like a jet engine. All the 烧烤 was incredible. And in 云南 the 傣菜 was always so special. 🤤

    Because the fediverse is small, niche communities tend to have little content and it's quite likely that most popular content will end up in your feed. I found it was helpful to subscribe to communities after i saw a post i liked from that community.

    Pretty shady looking site. If this can be believed, it seems like story is that some kind of deniable sub-contractor in the wider shadow fleet network was doing something that caused it to be flagged as suspicious and seized by iranian officials.
