  • The arguments are all over the place but in quick. You can't resell digital games. Also PC is an open platform, Xbox and Playstation are not. Steam might feel like a monopoly but they have to keep in mind the competitors like Epic and can't rip you off too much.

  • Loss?

  • Be careful what you wish for, with RAM prices soaring owning a home computer might become less of an option. Luckily we can get a subscription for computing power easily!

  • I just don't get suggested his content anymore. Then again I just found out every channel I've ever subscribed to is under a seperate category and usually not under the main YouTube page..

Basically I'm blocking every channel I've subscribed to without ever realising..

  • Probably is..

  • This was it! Thanks, amazing that something so simple needs a seperate plugin. You saved the night.

This can probably also disable the mini PiP player so I can die a happy dude.. :)

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

Am I dumb or does YouTube suck?

  • Why would they be nervous without any serious competition for 365?

  • Linux user here, I really hate this kind of bullshit. Just stick with the facts there are loads of reasons to use Windows. And for a lot of people I would still recommend Windows.

  • The soundtrack from Conan the Barbarian is a recommendation!

  • Sure owned those libs buddy..

  • You mean stuff like chiptuning? People do that all the time?

  • I know this one!

  • Nobody assumed that, but you still haven't answered the question..

  • What region are you from and what games do you play? Because playing Counter Strike as a European gets me in contact with a lot of Eastern European players and lord have I seem some shit on those profiles.

  • You took this out of the context it was in.

  • I switched to Linux myself but can we please stop lying about Linux being a drop-in replacement? There is enough sofware that does not work.

  • That still won't say anything about the reliability of the medium. The update itself isn't the problem.

  • Depends. If you need updates on the software used in the air gapped network you won't have lot of options. Burning cd's doesn't sound so crazy all of a sudden though...

  • I would count pressing the winkey and use start to search and launch an application as using the start menu.
