  • As someone who has driven both before and after phones became ubiquitous, you are right, there is absolutely some conflation going on here. With that said, people are also absolutely driving more poorly as a result of distractions. The way that people brake and accelerate is exceedingly telling. I wish phones were 100% barred from cars.

  • Honestly, genuinely, and 100% seriously, if it is a twitter screenshot, it is probably better to simply disregard its veracity. Twitter screenshots are 80% dunking on random vermin, 30% bot posts, and 20% faked. (Percentages reflect the vent diagram of fuck that is twitter) I used to verify, until I realized that the people there are simply not worth knowing.
