  • They did a recent south korea video which was super neolib biased.

  • Big respect to researchers who publish and share statistically insignificant results.

Instead of doing what is far too common in science, manipulating the data until you find “significance” through twisted interpretations.

  • Maybe we should delete the CEOs instead

  • I know this is a funny joke but the fact this keeps on being repeated can be quite hurtful to actual people with brain damage who are often quite mobility impaired and active in leftist disability rights movements.

  • This is cool, thanks for teaching me some of those terms.

But i mean as someone who has lived around europe you can’t really make oversimplified assumptions like that because there is too much people families moving around and stuff. It’s way too heterogenous.

Maybe this could have worked a hundred years ago

  • Honestly i’m sorry but why do it if it hurts? Is it just for fame?

  • dbzer0 is anti-copyright and anarchist.

sure if you’re a capitalist that might seem weird.

But it’s not like they are denying genocides and simping for mass murderers à la Hexbear or Lemmygrad.

(Being anarchist makes them pretty much the opposite of the authoritarian leninism popular in Grad and Hexbear. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some Leninists on dbzer0, but they aren’t the demographic the server is catering to)

  • I love dashes – they help better convey the flow of my thinking in written form.

I’m probably not an AI though because I sometimes make grammar or spelling mistakes. Since english isn’t my native language.

  • It’s decent for something small but the rampant duplication of books sort of ruins the experience.

Like there aren’t many users so if we have 12 copies on the same book each with between 0 and 2 reviews it sucks when we could instead have one copy with pretty metadata and 15 reviews and some discussion.

You can help fix this manually but this is really more of a structural issue that needs fixing.

  • That’s ableist though. Implies disabled people are inherently inferior if you don’t want them to be president.

Roosvelt was in a wheelchair much of his time and he did “fine”.

(Technically I’m against the idea of politicians at all so don’t feel like glorifying them).

  • Yeah I don’t like the sort of sanism it often implies.

  • Same. I’ve done pocket and omnivore but now both dead :(

Over half of pet cats in the U.S. spend time outside, and worldwide the animals have contributed to the extinction of at least 33 species, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Sadly, it’s already too late for dozens of species, including the Stephens Island wren (a flightless songbird), the crescent nailtail wallaby, and the adorable desert bandicoot.

[Suprise the Trump admin seems to have taken that page down — sure there is an archive tho]

  • Psychiatry is and has always been political

  • Get a catio.

Don’t let cats kill more birds and amphibians. Cats being let outside has contributed to the extinction of countless species.

  • What about some of the famous national parks. I’ve seen a lot of europeans at places like Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone

  • My flow is usually:

[when my cookie auto decline eztension doesn’t work]

    1. Look for Reject All button
    2. If no reject all button just open the site on an archive
  • Abusing institutional power to silence critics of genocide. That’s not a nice look.

A lot of the left always knew that academia and university were inherently political and not “pure truth” or “pure science” as people idealise them to be.

I hope those who would always argue that academia is pretty much perfect are now taking note.
