I currently find some balance in having a few things that disconnect me. Each day I do something artistic to get away from the bs cycle. Even if it's just 15 minutes.
I would highly recommend it and that you approach this as something you do for yourself only. Don't set any goals to please others. This one's about what you want from it.
As you spend time on this project (whatever you pick) you'll find pride and healing in what you accomplish.
Thing is, having people grow accustomed to the idea of romantic ai bots has very negative implications.
AI on it's own is already problematic, every clanker is a yes clanker, the erosion of common knowledge and perception, the polution,.... But with romance/erotica involved it's probably not too far fetched that there will be people who grow up into the idea that panties should drop just because you said hi. That's how we get incels and rapists.
