Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.

I'm single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.

ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the philanthropost, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru who cosplays as middle class.) With each passing day I get a little closer to hating everyone.

Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.

  • Star Wars - Attack of the Clones and Star Wars - Revenge of the Sith would both be infinitely better if a better actor than Hayden Christensen had been cast as Anakin Skywalker.

I also think Mads Mikkelsen was a terrible, awful replacement for Johnny Depp as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3. He's such a wooden actor and lacks the subtlety and nuance that Depp brought to the role.

  • My work PC does not have adblock, and I'm always a little culture shocked whenever I am forced to use Edge for something.

  • Hopefully you save some vitrol for the billionares shattering the planet and not just for the one who actually, somewhat agrees that they have too much money and are doing something about it.

I hate them all equally, but I reserve special vitriol for those who performatively donate it in order to generate favorable news headlines, whether it's your favorite pop star, a celebrity athlete, or a wizened beloved investment oracle.

They're all parasites and shouldn't exist.

  • Came here to see this.

So sick of seeing Mackenzie Scott articles. She shouldn't even be able to donate billions of dollars. She should be paying some fucking taxes.

  • I make it a point to post a few articles every day.

Not a firehose, but I'm doing my part.

  • It is insane, but that's late-stage capitalism for you. The choice we made was to have a few hundred more billionaires in the population, even if it means millions starving.

  • If you aren't an American, it may be difficult to understand.

Many cities here are very sprawled out and designed for cars, and therefore they're necessary for economic survival, perhaps more so than a home.

  • With each new headline like this I hate my country just a little bit more.

  • "Offensive war" seems a tad euphemistic.

  • I was not prepared for how perfect Pumpkin is.

  • I think he was a fascist because he didn't use the justice system to go after fascists when it was 100% warranted.

  • My life is a happy one, in part, because of no wife or kids. I wake up on a Saturday in my quiet, clean house and it feels fantastic.

  • Having enough income from my investments to not have to work and sleeping in every day.

But mostly just being left alone in peace.

  • He didn’t all keep his promises on immigration and his track record on it was mediocre and with a high number of deportations.

    Again, with the euphemistic language.

Let's call him what he was: a lying, corrupt son of a bitch.

  • Hate to break it to you, but that was Trump.

And Obama. Obama also did state kidnappings "family separations". The only difference was that Donald didn't try to intellectualize around it and was very blatant about what he was doing, whereas Obama tried to put lipstick on the pig in the mold of a "compassionate conservative" like Dubya.

While Obama’s legacy on immigration was mixed and not exactly great

Always appreciate how euphemistically people speak about Obama, as if his policies didn't provide a normalization for greater fascist abuses under Donald and Biden.

  • Though I do what I can with those who are in my area

This is the only power most of us have at this point, and I make it a point to be active locally myself.

  • Always love a good thought-terminating cliche. Thank you.

  • It's nice to hear that someone doesn't.

I voted Biden with full understanding that, at least economically, nothing meaningful would change. It felt important for there to be a cultural victory against Trumpism; However, as we saw this last four years, Biden was a fascist too, and to make matters worse, was very publicly in cognitive decline and no one with the power to meaningful change gave a damn about it.

  • True, but when Dubya started kidnapping (I mean "renditioning" people) and torturing them, and then Obama did those things AND put kids in cages and concocted a kill list, while knowingly drone bombing an American citizen, and then Donald did all those things and tried to ban Muslims, which were then followed up by Biden doing all those things AND making sure a child genocide and a manufactured famine got full US support....

...it's easy to see how both sides have made all this possible.

It's a little laughable watching all the hand wringing about Hegseth's war crimes. (though a little satisfying)
