ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the philanthropost, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru who cosplays as middle class.) With each passing day I get a little closer to hating everyone.

Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.

  • I'm mostly an anti-AI purist.

    It just gets too much wrong, too often, to really be used with any regularity for me. I do use it for a few technical things, but only if the added time required for validation still nets out well for my own efficiency.

    I spent four years in a job I hated, with people who were jerks, and my boss insisted on taking me out to a work lunch before I transitioned out. I was stuck for two hours with them, chatting like these weren't the most awful people, some of whom who had gone out of their way to bully me or withhold training (for fear of layoffs), and it was uncomfortable and unnecessary.

    I went with it because it's generally good practice not to burn bridges. You just never know what could come back to haunt you.

    Pro tip, though: Just tell your boss you have diarrhea next time. They'll gladly let you out of it. Digestive issues are the catch-all for when you want out of something with minimal blowback. (Pun intended.)

  • Mojeek is a good one. Qwant is another, but it does have a 'Flash Answers' box that you can disable and it will stay disabled. My browser has it disabled by default, though.

    If you're wedded to google you can use udm14.com and it will remove the AI, ads, and knowledge panels.
