Artist, musical performer, and former derby skater from the Midwest.

I'm single, childless, and married to freedom and adventure.

ACAB, Anti-War, and I hate Democrats, Republicans, and billionaires. (Yes, even your favorite billionaire: the pop star, the philanthropost, the legendary athlete, or the soft-spoken investment guru who cosplays as middle class.) With each passing day I get a little closer to hating everyone.

Also, I refuse to use Donald's last name out of hatred for the man and his brand, FYI.

  • The first that I usually mention is the Coal Wars / Battle of Blair Mountain or the Sand Creek Massacre, but there are many events that American students are made to be ignorant if on purpose.

It also got me to learn that after meeting the natives for the first time, Columbus literally wrote in his diary about how easy it would be to steal from them because they were so peaceful.

  • I miss Geocities and bolt.com. Apparently it's a shitty app now, but it was once glorious.

  • A People's History of the United States, by Howard Zinn.

There is so, so much that Americans don't know that they don't know.

  • I didn't see nothin'.

  • Love seeing decisions like this blow up in corporate execs' faces.

Also, sidebar, did my YT video on this topic this week if anyone's bored.

  • Whether they laid people off or chose not fill vacancies with experience, the net result is still the same. They replaced people with AI, expecting known imprecise tools to do precise work, and it was really fucking stupid.

  • Well that's certainly different.

But when I say I like the stories, I'm not saying that I associate with vigilantes. I'm just saying the stories are interesting and I enjoy reading them.

  • Uh, yeah dude. Totally. When I say I love vigilante stories the KKK is exactly what I'm talking about.

  • For what it's worth, y'all, Mint Mobile is pretty great. I actually got an email in December when renewal time came telling me I should downgrade my plan and save money, based on my data usage for 2025.

  • God, I love vigilante stories.

  • Thanks. I'll edit this into the post.

  • Yeah, that's all just bullshit. A thought-terminating cliche.

  • 100%

A better product means Ford has to actually produce better products, which cuts into the number of megayachts their CEO, board, and shareholders can squeeze out of their workers.

  • Oh yes.

The gerrymandering has 100% worked against them, which is why in the northern states the legislatures resisted it. It's very, very clear that Donald fucked up big time by pissing off the Latino vote with his push for reviving the Gestapo.

  • Oh wow.

Looking at the article, it sounds like they tried to fix it and found the repair work was making it tilt even faster.

  • I appreciate that. I hate it all too.

There have been some minor positive developments at least. A few of the school shooters in recent years have had their parents arrested and locked up for proven negligence. I hope it will become a trend.

  • No need to ask me questions like this as if I personally support it.

And yes, people here are aware of all the safety measures available. They just care more about convenience or otherwise don't care at all.

  • Could be, but given how genAI has trained on the whole of recorded human knowledge and still can't accomplish basic addition in many cases, chances aren't awful that these people will remain essential, given that Ford insists on adhering to this imprecise process.

  • No worries. I figured it was just a quick misread.
