  • People can be so lazy. I park my car 60m from the shop and I get complaints from my parents like fuck just walk a little it won't kill you.

    I bike to work and bus and constantly people act like I cant be doing this out of my own freewill and i must be getting forced into this punishing situation because my car is broken. My car is broken because i dont use because i have no need or want but they do not understand this. No matter how many times I explain its actually easier and more beneficial for me its like water off a ducks back and i get the same question next time i see them.

  • I don't know what was going on behind the scenes but as a user of their mail app it felt barebones. So to see them working on a full rewrite for years instead of moving forward is kinda surprising. Like bro its a mail app features are more important than speed or memory safety.

  • Film is a great way to show you an experience that may expand your perspective. The viewer is usually challenged by this as they have to empathise with a person outside of their comfort zone.

    A good example is when a character first comes off as bad and you have to really feel his situation and empathise with him to understand why he made the choices he did and two people might walk away thinking different things about if he was right or wrong. This is a lot more involved than non challenging films where the intentions are out in the open.

    Theyre fun if you're in the mood but theres nothing wrong with chucking on something mindless, entertaining and enjoying.

  • Yes? Its pretty clear American models are ahead of Chinese ones. A drone swarm like that isnt really technically impressive AI usage. You should see the US military integration if you think coordinating 200 drones is impressive.
