  • Thats fine, uploading the ID doesnt have to be safer. The parents can judge the risk of their child using that platform and upload their ID to verify if they want. I'm pointing out that the child isnt prevented from communicating with friends or even using social media.

    While some young people were exposed to harmful content and bullying online, for Indy, social media was always a safe space. If she ever came across anything that felt unsafe, she says, she would ask her parents or sisters about it.

    If thats the case why dont her parents just use their I'd to verify an account for her? Also it only blocked a few platforms and there are still plenty of ways to communicate with friends.

    It seems you hate the american lack of welfare not Klarna. Unless your issue is that poor people have access to credit? I think thats their right and it would be fucked to deny them that. If we compare the situation with klarna vs without they miss their rent payment.

    Even in countries where you lose your job and the government gives you money and pays your rent these people would still spend irresponsibly and get into debt.

  • I used to be of the opinion that searching history for issues was the best thing. But ive seen how many issues it creates and think its not worth it. Software is constantly being updated and the post from 6months ago is likely a completely different issue even if it sounds similar to yours.

    Having access to real time individualized support for free is actually awesome from a user perspective. For devs they are able to let the community handle a lot of the requests and oversee that terrible advice isnt being shared.

  • You're booming. Discord search is fine but you dont even need to search. Seeking assistance is easy > join post > get notified when someone answers you.

    Compared to forums where you have to create and account post an introduction then deep dive on the forum to make sure your question hasnt been asked before then write up s big detailed post only for the mod to remove your post because it was in the wrong place.
