  • phones. I just fucken hate em. Until I can get my hands on a graphineOS pixel I will just feel like I have a spy device in my pocket. So now I just have a 6 year old one that is mostly offline playing local music and watching/listening to videos from grayjay. Once this device is dead I will have to look at getting a new one and im really not looking forward to it. I never use calling and i only use txt to receive spam and 2fa spam. Kinda want something like the mechaComet instead of a phone.

  • Biden tried to get this passed but it got blocked by a federal court

  • In 2000s a pack of gum could electrocute you.

  • Reading the article I was curious what the feature was. Then I read its been cooked up by meta's super intelligence lab wow. Ok so what's the feature "allow individuals to generate images by @-mentioning public Instagram accounts" Oh its just prompt to image the thing we've had for nearly 4 years now. Thats so fucking boring and so obviously a bad idea. Who wants ai slop spammed in the comment section? Its already half the posts. These people have unlimited money, access to one of the biggest platforms ever and thats what they come up with. These ghouls are souless they have no imagination.

  • Not all people are your crazy ex. The kid will say way worse than that to you they can be fucken mean when they're pissed off at you.

  • I'm hoping euOS can come out with a full desktop, MDM and idp stack and give businesses an easy way into the enterprise linux environment.

  • Ok its still dominated by windows. I'm hoping the trend of switching to linux continues but I'm still realistic about the situation. Which is that windows is not losing a huge marketshare. They are still comfortably in the lead and growing in the areas they actually care about.

  • Microsoft desktop share is sure but its still the default and they dont care about non business uses

  • I think Microsoft understands that and thats why their product is in the state it is.

  • Favourite is watership down. Reading at the moment is half a soul by Olivia atwater

  • Yeah it looks nice. Once I have kids I'll move out of Auckland but atm on my career grind.

  • NZ and still NZ nothing against other countries but I just don't like the way people are compared to how they are here. Its not about niceness people overseas are much nicer. Comforts of home I guess. I'd maybe move from Auckland to Dunedin again or to smaller 100k town in the north island.

  • All i have seen of Jellyroll is his Juvenile speaking events which were pretty respectable. But that aside the dude looks like he makes the worst music.

  • Sock like this, wet patch, a small stone and your toe nail snagging on the sock.

  • They have shipped a lot in the past years and its already a very good value proposition for business. I think a few dollars increase isnt crazy but it shouldnt be across the board since they havent provided anything to average users except ai all the non ai improvements have been in the business space. I hope it keeps going up because I'd like to be able to make the case for switching off windows.

For individual its already way to expensive for what it provides. Microsoft hates their users.

  • You have to wear your cats or the system will act up

  • Nah i like to keep my favourite books around so I can reread them or lend them to a friend of theyre interested. Most of my reading is from the Library because I'm reading random unknown books and they're very hit/miss. If you want a popular book you have to wait months. When i hear about a book I know I'll like I buy it from a 2nd hand store usually.

  • Beyond all reason is a great multiplayer environment once you get the hang of how to play.

  • One database called Main, no sub folders, no tags, most unnamed and not working.

I organise passwords by account type. I have my main account that is private but I use for real world things like banking. My main that I use for public facing stuff but also tied to my real identity. My sudo anon alias(this) and my "true" anon alias which I pretty much never use because trying to stay private for 0 reason is exhausting.

  • Huh their own survey doesnt even say people are not ready to let physical games die. It just says that 71% of people say they miss physical games but doesnt suggest any intention to buy physical games. There has been no time to miss physical games so the only reason you'd say that is if you werent buying them when they were available.

Actually kill me, this must hell. An entire subreddit dedicated to windows updates and xbox updates. I cannot think of anything more depressing. These people have had a rough decade https://www.reddit.com/r/windowscentral/

Actually revive me, most of the comments are people saying they've switched to linux and only use windows because they're forced to for work. Sanity restored.
