  • Star Wars, Marvel movies, basically film in general. Goes for TV shows too.

    It wasn't until my mid-twenties that I concluded that video is just not an entertainment medium that works for me. I tried really, really hard to like it, and I gave all of the really popular films or TV shows or even YouTube videos a fair shot.

    That's not to belittle the training, dedication, preparation, and everything else that was done by all of the people around adjacent to or even inside the rocket. The indictment is not on them.

  • Tom Goes to the Mayor is a delightful series that really captures the feeling of living in forgotten small-town America and being crushingly poor.

    I don't know if that's what the creators were going for but it resonated with me on that level.
