  • I've never had an issue with it. I don't use qbit's "restart on boot" setting, but rather use my OS' 'start apps on reboot' feature with a minute delay that ensures the network is connected, with VPN on, and stabilized. /shrug

    In Advanced settings there's the ability to bind to a network. Bind to the vpn and qbittorrent won't work at all without the VPN engaged.

  • Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm looking for an OS that will work with my current phone. Not one that requires I buy a new one. It's also American and, sorry, that's a deal breaker nowadays.

  • im going through this bs right now with a new phone. It is ridiculous the amount of hidden settings that are obfuscated by generic settings which conceal the background settings that still allow for data theft.

    You need to enable dev mode, connect to a pc in debug mode to run ADB so you can carefully delete all the spyware using curated lists of files that deleting wont brick the phone. It is exhausting. Linux for all phones plz.

    Mint's whole paradigm is an OS that emphasizes stability and usability and you claim Debian is more stable even though it's the cutting edge base of an entire distro tree while Mint is 2 years behind it's Ubuntu base to ensure functionality? Make it make sense.
