A little of many, and a lot of a few.Probably pretty similar to you.

  • Chainsaws on a trigger spell with an extra one at the end which gets cast at the same time as the trigger bolt to delete cast delay. Adding shit like add manas and heavyshot to the payload really make wands like that shine. Another good one is the lightbeams with the bouncing spells perk or the zig zag modifier.

  • There is something to be said for the fact that consumers always want more of the same. Any time something new and good is made, the first question people ask is “why arent there any sequels.” Almost by necessity, companies will provide an increasingly diluted product to hock at these insatiable individuals. Just ask McDonalds why they never change their fries.

  • Me playing Noita (the only game I will ever need) while everyone complains about gta6 which isn't even out yet.

(actually send help, I cannot make myself play other games)

  • It is the ultimate corporate yes-man that they could never quite get in a human. They have built it for C-suites who have control of the money but not their own faculties.

  • Patience and maybe some tweezers or even a smaller string.

  • It is fucked how much easier it is to get a vasectomy than a tubal litigation.

  • My oldest sister wanted to do the same. My brother in law got a vasectomy in secret after the 7th. Everything your dad said is exactly true.

Edit: I don't mean to imply that some women aren't forced into the position of having more kids than they want. But usually having a lot of kids requires two mentally unwell religious fundamentalists.

  • I'm a tenth child and my mom did it of her own volition. It was like being a dog that nobody wanted to take care of.

  • Ive spread a bunch of seeds in certain areas and let grow what will. I only pull certain plants which I've identified as space hogs (bittersweet.) Not all the plants that come up are native I am sure, but the bugs don't seem to notice. My whole philosophy is to do less work and let the plants do what plants do.

  • The less I do to the yard, the better it looks to me. I like having some areas mowed but I like having stuff live in it even better.

  • Reminds me of how ferrets sleep.

  • Red shift and blue shift are exactly the same thing. If you think about light as a wave, like sound, approaching objects have scrunched up waves (blueshifted light) and fleeing objects have spaced out waves (redshifted light). The exact same reason a car horn has higher pitch when it is approaching you and lower pitch when it travels away. The intensity of the effect is correlated to the speed limit of the medium so since light is so fast this effect is typically very small.

  • The doppler effect you can hear when something loud passes you happens to light too. It would have to be aproaching very fast indeed however to make a red rose appear blue. (Like fast enough to fuse atoms in the atmosphere)

  • Makes me think of all those sleepy and dazed hours spent in a classroom.

  • I would hope I could change my mind in light of overwhelming evidence, but likely I would rather make note of an alternative view and quietly reject it. Perhaps sitting with the evidence for a long time would make it more tenable to me.

  • I get this meme is funny but like, if horses really were that fragile then they would not have been domesticated into the work machines we had before combustion engines. They were our automobiles, they plowed our fields and fought in our wars. Yes evolution is a messy ordeal, but it can produce beings that have wild amounts of endurance and horses are near the top of that list.

  • By quitting the measurement of it and focusing on my well being and happiness instead. I am here to live my life; chasing goals gets in the way of that.

  • It's really quite a blessing to have people with such a wealth of knowledge about gardening in the family. It takes a lot of seasons to learn how to be so good at it.
